I am so slow on this blog that I forgot to make a pinned post. So here's a quickie!

I'm gonna be SLOW. Please be patient with me. Vergil is fickle despite having him for... eight years now? Love this asshole but my muse is almost always dominated by my OC. Still, I do try to swing in here when possible.

☯ Vergil was established in 2017.

☯ I claim no ownership and yadda yadda Capcom created him and all that jazz.  Dunno if its necessary but y'know how weird gaming companies have gotten.

☯ Mun is 30+ and I go by Lunar.  She/her or they/them. I’ve been RPing on tumblr since 2012.  Muns must be 18+, and I am most comfortable with muses who are also 18+, but will make exceptions for canon muses that are minors, as long as they’re handled responsibly.  Highly selective with this.

☯ I get not everyone wants to, or can send asks from prompts/memes and that’s totally fine.  But please reblog from the source.  If you would also reblog quotes, or images from the source, that’d be spiffy.  That said - If you only seem to reblog memes I post (even if you do so from the source) and never send anything, or make any effort to interact, I’ll softblock.  I’m not a resource.

☯ I am quite selective with RP partners and pick and choose who I’d be interested in based on the possibility of building story.

☯ First thing I do when checking a blog is look at your rules.  If there’s no rules page, or if your blog is difficult to navigate, good chance I won’t follow.  Same goes with not tagging smut, or sexual imagery.

☯ There will be R rated themes on this blog that may include written gore, or questionable situations not including anything to do with sexual assault.  Reading it in character histories unless it is established in canon, can be difficult for me.

There will be no actual smut on this blog, or sexual imagery.  There may be some spicy content but once it reaches a point, it’s fade to black.  To add to this - sexual abuse is a big no go for me.  If it may come up in a thread (canon events ONLY) then please give me a heads up beforehand. 

Blogs that engage in pedophilia, and/or incest/self-cest (this includes any variation of ships with anyone in the Sparda family; i.e. V, Urizen, Nelo Angelo, etc), don’t even follow me.  This includes aging up minors to engage in sexual scenarios.  If you associate with someone who openly ships adults with minors, that’s another huge fuckoff from me.  Thanks.

All that said - please tag anything to do with fingernail, toenail, gums, or inner ear mutilation.  This includes doing things around the fingernail and toenails.  It makes me super, super squeamish.

☯ Slow burn ships are my thing, and I am an exclusive multishipper.  That means if I ship Vergil with your muse, yours is the only version I will ship him with.  Vergil has essentially no interest in romance and just as little in sex so there’s very little chance he’ll actually be that engaged with anyone.

☯ I understand everyone has their favorite ships, but please don’t bring them up in our interactions. Whether it’s a ship you like/have established in backstory, or with another RPer. Or something you want with a canon muse I write that hasn’t been established or discussed. I do not acknowledge anyone’s ships unless they are confirmed canon. This applies to all my verses. I may make exceptions for plot, but that’s probably the extent of it.

☯ I fully support the canon ship between Kyrie and Nero and do not view it, or the way its presented in the series, as incestual.  Credo and Kyrie’s family looked after Nero.  They were never considered siblings.  End of discussion.

☯ This is my place for relaxing regardless of people’s views on things.  Tumblr is a pleasant escape from real world problems where I can find inspiration to draw, and write, and make new friends.  Obviously there’s some lines to draw, but overall I’m happy not to get into potentially volatile topics and would appreciate people respecting that.  Thank you.

Now that things had begun to settle down, it felt more appropriate to seek to learn more about his son. And the woman that he had decided to spend his life with. Dante's teasing about seeing his Grandchildren felt like a hot iron strike to his heart. It felt like an impossible dream. A cruel joke on his twin's behalf to even put the idea into his head.

In truth - he couldn't stop thinking about it. So much had changed with being forced to exist as V for a time. The human within him, subjected to loss of power, and weakness, opened his eyes to realize that everything he had been striving for, was not what he needed at all.

And that -- that simple fact was what would drive his hand in the end. Pushing himself beyond comfort and awkwardness, to strive to be there for his son. It didn't, however, negate the wrongs done.

Boots upon the sidewalk were light and rhythmic in the evening air. The city quiet by the time he had thought to make his way back to the little apartment he had procured in Fortuna. It wouldn't do to intrude upon Nero and Kyrie, and he certainly had no interest in sleeping on Nico's cigarette drenched furniture.

London. A bustling cityscape in blissful ignorance of what truly transpires in the middle of the night. The darker, more problematic side of the livelihood of the cruel and unsavory. Vergil's purpose was merely to visit England though he was rather good at learning of the more sinister activities that transpired here. This was not his purpose for coming, though. There was a longing for knowledge; an opportunity he would not miss to be able to experience a different part of the world, and all that it encompassed.

Nevermind the fact he just wanted a break from his twin brother. Perhaps that was the main reason, though one might be hard pressed to hear him utter as much.

His attire was one expected of someone of Nobility; striking teal against pale skin and white locks slicked back. He wore it was confidence, standing out from the crowd as one might given his soft, yet defined masculine features.

"Sir." An older man spoke as he reached the ground from the drivers seat of the carriage, "Do you wish I take your belongings into your lodgings for the night?"

"That will be fine." Vergil replied simply. His blue gaze steeled across the faces of enamored women studying him from afar. Hushed whispers exchanged, but nobody dare make their approach. No one except the sole British man now carrying his things.

Omg.

I was going through my blog to do a light cleanup and found this post.

Well I'm reading 'Visions of V' now (and totally loving V even more) and I just got to the Chapter that says exactly this. And it makes me feel so fucking validated LOL. This originally was posted March 12, 2019.

The manga was announced in March 2019. And the Chapter it confirms it in, is Chapter 15 which I can't find a release date for off hand. But it was after I'd made this observation.

I'm smiling like an idiot right now :D Hehehe.

I would love to write with a Kyrie and a Nico. Not nearly enough love given to those two and it makes me sadface.

Nero takes very little time in collecting the box he keeps aforementioned shards in and offers it to Vergil by ways of placing it down aside him. He's only glad that nobody was home - Kyrie had taken the collective of orphans-come-family over to Fortuna for a few weeks to tend to her old family home as a getaway - and by gods was he glad none of them we're here to witness whatever this was.

You left him there-? Is what Nero wanted to say, but has long learned how to bite his tongue and keep the sudden rising of initial reactions back. So they'd been parted while trying to escape? That was all Nero could have thought had happened, and judging by the state of his father it hadn't been an easy feat in the first place.

"Now what...?" It wasn't as if Vergil could just throw himself back in given the state of him and Nero had mass doubts that himself going would give them much more of an advantage. (That, and he's certain both Nico and Kyrie would kill him for so much as thinking about it.) So they we're stuck.

"We just ... see if he turns up? Because that don't sit well with me."

There's tension in his form beyond the ache and pain resonating from his wounds. Something deep stirred; festered where he could no longer perceive, or reach. Somewhere embedded into his soul, an unease about Dante's predicament resonating with something long abandoned upon the return of V to Urizen. Like a parasite burrowing that he could feel but not quite place. Deep inhale. Equally long exhale. The familiar sound of the clack of stone beating against each other drew his attention to the box now seated beside him. Fragments casting their low greenish glow upon his features as he drank in the collection his son had provided.

It shouldn't surprise him Nero would be prepared. He wondered how many times Dante might have needed it, or Nero himself despite the profound strength the young man had proven himself to possess last he and his twin were at odds in the human world.

"No. We do not." Vergil remarked with slender fingers coiled about one of the green stones. Its glow intensifying briefly as its form vanished into vines of viridescent light, riding beneath his skin and up his arm a short distance before fading off. Immediately his physical condition improved, though it would take a bit more than just one small piece to remedy the extent afflicted upon him.

"I must go back." Rivals they may be, however he was still his brother. Eyes opened by the experiences of V's interactions with both Nero, Dante and their allies, bringing to focus that power no longer was sufficient; aspirations fueled by more than just.

"Dante-? I don' fuckin' know. You both disappeared together-" In Nero's opinion, or hopes, it would have been Vergil that would have known the answer to that question; one in which Nero intended to ask in turn but now had no need to. Having the male turn up on his doorstep, in the state he was, was a concern in and of itself - - but it also begged the question once more. Where was Dante-?

"He ain't been here." A boot kicked forth, shoving open the door in order to get the other inside where he could near drop him towards the couch. "I got some orb shards here, somewhere; I'll grab 'em for y' n' you try n' think about th' last time y' saw him."

If he's not here then -- Vergil shook off an immediate thought beckoning him to try and return, and locate Dante. He was not as weak as the last time he escaped hell, but he surely was in no condition to fight. It would be suicide to go back right now. "So you failed again.." The man uttered callously. A slight scowl rested upon his lips. How very foolish of him to believe they could get out together. Had he done something to ensure Vergil would escape? Was it because of Nero?

Brows crease down sharply. Body sliding away from Nero to rest upon the couch with a subdued wince, dragging his jacket off slowly to reveal the plethora of wounds across his form. "Then he is still trapped." The older male spoke matter of fact. His thoughts venturing to the last place he had seen him. The onslaught of demons closing in upon their position, and the last words he had heard beckoning Vergil to go forward. That Dante would be right behind him.

"Stubbornness and necessity are strong motivators." 'T was all he could think of to say, off the bat. Sat as he was, V most certainly did appear to be immensely fragile, even now - - but he was no longer turning to dust before the eyes of others. He was what he was- “Enlightenment means taking full responsibility for your life.”

Those were fitting words not unlike the very things motivating him to his goals. Vergil had aspired to achieve much. His motivations unspoken outside of the constant rivalry between Dante and he. But with new knowledge came shifted interests. Subtle ones that, had he not dispelled his humanity for a time, would have been left steeped in unknowns.

For this, he was both grateful, and a touch --- regretful? Pride turned his gaze from the past to focus more on the future. He had acknowledged his new responsibilities. A man driven by his own code of honor which for a time, had been snuffed and grown ragged under the barrage of pain and horrors endured under Mundus' rule. But they were not entirely lost.

"Inevitably we change. Weakness becomes strength. Knowledge, an obstacle." A beat. Leg loosely rested across the other with a heavy sigh allowed to escape, "He is more human than I, and yet shows tremendous strength." His thoughts venture to Nero. His son. Remarks from Dante haunting him about his grandchildren. A sour note in his belly festering at the recognition that this was likely an impossibility. Conflict was a abscess in the bottom of his soul. Nero seemed to want him in his life, yet -- Could he actually be a Father? Stood proud over what he had created? What Nero had accomplished? His son was a strong man. Something worth being proud of.

V surely knew it. Could feel the exchange of emotions churning within Vergil's form. They were one, after all. A single soul once splintered, now whole again, sharing all that that entailed.
