Previously, I’d only seen the first two panels and assumed it was the complete comic.
This version is much better.
omg it’s so much better with the conclusion
writers:
break up your paragraphs. big paragraphs are scary, your readers will get scared
fuuuuck epithets. “the other man got up” “the taller woman sat down” “the blonde walked away” nahhh. call them by their names or rework the sentence. you can do so much better than this (exception: if the reader doesn’t know the character(s) you’re referring to yet, it’s a-okay to refer to them by an identifying trait)
blunette is not a thing
new speaker, new paragraph. please.
“said” is such a great word. use it. make sweet love to it. but don’t kill it
use “said” more than you use synonyms for it. that way the use of synonyms gets more exciting. getting a sudden description of how a character is saying something (screaming, mumbling, sighing) is more interesting that way.
if your summary says “I suck at summaries” or “story better than summary” you’re turning off the reader, my dude. your summary is supposed to be your hook. you gotta own it, just like you’re gonna own the story they’re about to read
follow long sentences w short ones and short ones w long ones. same goes for paragraphs
your writing is always better than you think it is. you just think it’s bad because the story’s always gonna be predicable to the one who’s writing it
i love u guys keep on trucking
say your dialogue out loud and see if it flows like an actual conversation two real people would have
keep your vocab relatively simple. trust me on this. if your reader has to keep toggling between your story and dictionary.com, you’re alienating them, not showing off your “writing prowess.” It’s okay to throw in a few fancy words in once in a while to spruce things up, but don’t use things like “he extrapolated” too often
synonyms are great, but don’t go overboard. instead of “he pronounced, retrieving the container” just say “he said, picking up the box.” again, keep it simple
doesn’t matter how in love they are. they still need lube
if the only thing carrying your plot is an easy-to-fix minor miscommunication/misunderstanding, you might wanna throw something else in there to keep your reader on their toes
describe accents, but try not to put them into dialogue. “Iz cold up een Russia”??? just tell your reader the dude has a russian accent and have him talk
ur all beautiful and i still love u
Try to be in one person’s head at a time so the reader doesn’t get the feeling that they’re some sort of all-powerful all-knowing genie goddess.
Descriptions are important and fun to write, but some people will skip them to save on time. Troll them or let the descriptions just be descriptions, you decide.
Act out the actions you write.
Write–on a separate document or something–which injuries who has gotten. It’s an easy way to keep track so you can keep things continuous without rereading that specific fight scene over and over again.
Timelines are your friend! Some readers are really continuity conscious!
Characters may or may not get away from you/gain their own free will while you write. This is okay, I promise.
Readers can come up with very interesting theories on what’s going to happen next, sometimes even more so than yourself. This is a good thing.
Assume nothing about your readers. They will come from different backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures, and educational levels. Explain what is relevant now or even later. No more or less.
GRAMMAR.
Spell check is your friend. (I am dyslexic and I swear if Spell Check were a person I just might have to marry them. ._.)
Have fun with your beautiful writing skills! There’s a reason these people continue to click on links to your profiles and writings~! *^_^*
Whenever someone mentions spell check, I always think of this:

Sailor Moon is so lucky to be a cartoon character. If I were a cartoon character, I’m sure I would have none of the problems I am having right now. And even if I did, they would all be solved by the end of the episode.

Plus Size Fashion (That Actually Fits!)
I’ve been plus size since I was about twelve-years-old. So, of all people, I understand that just because something says it’s available in your size, doesn’t mean it actually fits your size. I also know that a lot of people in the fashion communities I’m part of seem to believe that because they don’t suit the size of the models displaying the clothes they love so much, they can’t actually wear them. To me, that’s a terrible shame. I know how sad it is to want to participate and feel like you can’t because you’re unable to. So, today, I’m here to show you some plus size clothing brand that I personally have worn and can verify actually fits
Kawaii Goods
This shop suits a variety of fashions fairy kei, pop kei, decora, and even some lolita or hime fashions, if you really tried. I’m sure there’s others I can’t think of, but onto the point. Kawaii Goods is run by a very lovely lady who designs all her own stuff. Her fabrics are stretchy and a bit like swimwear/dance knits. They’re really comfy and they fit even my curvy all over body.
Holley Tea Time
This store is extremely similar to Kawaii Goods, but with a whole new variety of prints. This is more exclusive to Pop and Fairy Kei styles as well as Pastel Goth/Creepy Cute.
Plus Cutie
Like Japanese culture? Are you a total weeb? Then this is the clothing shop for you! I can genuinely say that just about every otaku-esque or Japanese street fashion probably has at least one piece here. It’s where I got my seifuku from! ^u^
Torrid
I love this store. This one isn’t “kawaii” or related to j-fashion, but it is very modern and has stuff for genuinely plus sized people. I’ve gotten a peignoir from there, some nice shoes, and even a good bra. This probably has something your size or style. Shoes, clothes, accessories, you name it! They’re a bit on the pricey side but I assure you anything from this store will last you a long, long time.
Lane Bryant
Admittedly I predominantly shop here for undergarments and accessories. They have a few nice clothes that, indeed, fit those of us in the larger size ranges. Most of their style is mildly business casual. Check them out though, they’re great quality!
Magical Circle Clothing
For weebs and pastel goths alike. Accessories? Yeah. More importantly? Really nice quality clothing for bigger people! I love lots of their styles and I plan on at one point going out on a huge haul with them.
Dani Lamb Designs
Be-still my tender, pastel-loving heart. This shop is so alarmingly cute. Lots of nice, soft colors and really good designs. I feel like this is a must-see if you’re into lots of pastels.
The Kawaii Machine
So cute! Pastels, darks, lots of different styles. This store is so cute and all the products are to die for. I cannot recommend them enough.
Coruscate Unique
This is for the plus sized lolita. Granted, not all of the items are plus sized. However, they do also have a plus sized line and a made-to-order selection. Super cute. Lots of frills! Love this shop.
Also Dollbe, by the lovely princess-mint, who does a really wide range of sizes with her cute lolita clothes. (Yup, I’m a muchly satisfied customer).

Lolita documentaries
Sometimes explaining Lolita fashion to others can be quite tough. So I put together a list of some documentaries that you can show others if you want to educate them about the style.
Lolitas of Amsterdam A documentary about the Dutch Lolita community, part of the series “Style out There”
Cuteness, escapism and lace monsters Part of the series “weird threads”: the host visits a Lolita tea party in Los Angeles
Sugar Coated Short documentary about the Los Angeles Lolita community, also features a muslim Lolita and a male Lolita
Lace & Petticoats A documentary by and with Australian Lolitas
