Game Rules:
I do want to try and aim for a coherent story, but these are the general rules in place that will help shape it.
Mass extinction events is on. If a cat dies, they are dead for good.
In addition to the above rule, if a cat needs to die for plot reasons, they are gonna.
Most Patrols are going to depend on the Patrol Traits. For example, if a patrol of three comes across a loner and the traits are positive (ex. loving, charismatic, etc.), they will proceed. However, if the traits are majority negative (ex. cold, bloodthirsty, etc.), they will aggravate. This rule may be bent at times
Cheating is on until I decide otherwise, whether due to clan size or relationship stuff
Unknown second parent is on, same behaviors as the rule above.
No romance between former mentors and first cousins. We're not ThunderClan here
Not every cat will be shown unless their event is important.

If you didn't see, the Clangen Creator Community celebrated it's 1st birthday on March 23rd, so we thought we would run the same event that we ran the first month that the server was open - a banner event!
The original event featured 38 cats, but this time we were able to have a gathering of 60! Each cat was drawn and submitted by a different creator in our server in their own unique style, meaning we also have over 60 art styles represented here, which is so incredibly cool.

We mention it a lot, but we are truly so grateful for this community, and hopefully the immense amount of love put into this project by our participants is easily felt. Here's to another year of creation!
what do you mean its been a year since the last tidalclan page-
this is just a mini rant/vent/word explosion cause man-
i know what i want to do for TidalClan moving forward. I love and adore ClanGen Comics that delve deeper beyond just the RNG descriptions and show that through their comic pages. These pages still inspire me even now when I haven’t picked up the pen in a while.
I know this:
- I want to write more scenes with dialogue and build a coherent story
- I want to get better at drawing backgrounds
- I want to get into a comfy schedule where I can draw my pages without getting into burn-out or stress
But I also know
- I work a 9-5 job that leaves me pretty exhausted
- I have extra-curricular activities often after my job so that’s double tired
- I’m trying to get a Twitch going (hopefully streaming art might get some more pages done)
- My weekends are often unpredictable
So…Yeah. I gotta get better at managing my timing. I really want to come back to TidalClan, I miss it a lot.
Thanks for sticking with me, those who have. I really appreciate it a whole ton. I hope to be back soon.
Hey! I reread Tidalclan recently and remembered how much I love it <3 I've been following for quite a while now and your comic was an inspiration for me to start making my own. I hope the replanning is going well and I hope we get to see Tidalclan return someday soon (/nf :3)

I’m sorry this took a bit to answer. I have still have ever intention of returning, even if it’s a bit slow. I’m trying my best to work out exactly how I want to format the comic going forward. I would love to add some more dialogue and properly tie some storylines together. I want to give this the love it deserves.
I read TidalClan from the beginning as well a few days ago, and I remembered just how amazing it made me feel. It got lost for a little while with life’s stresses, but I’m eager to return to it.
Thank you for loving TidalClan as much as I do. Knowing this was someone’s inspiration to make their own…there’s no greater feeling. I can’t wait to see what comes in store for DireClan!

Can I just say I always loved how you draw StarClan cats? The starry eyes always made them feel so mysterious! And I adore Gingerfall and Rustspot's interactions together. I like her attitude in making sure Gingerfall doesn't overdo themselves. I hope she recovers from her rat bite soon!

I love love love getting to see Burdockkit grow up since the start of the comic. She's so cute and I love how her little snail is always with her! I love her storytime with the kits too! I can't wait to see more of her!

I'm still reading through your clangen series but I love how Ravenflight interacts with Scraps so much! She's funny and has so much heart! It's also super cool to have a wheelchair for her, but also how she knows how to use it! I always kind of wondered how clancats would react to a twoleg object that would aid in cat mobility.

Last Song: Evil Twin by Lindsey Stirling. I got a record player for Christmas and have been going nuts with my new vinyl. Evil Twin freaking hits??? I listened to a few of her songs but I usually stick around what I know when I really should explore. I can't wait to hear the rest.
Last Book: Kith and Kin, the Critical Role book with Vax and Vex. It's been a HOT minute since I last picked it up (summer...? late summer...?) but I thoughly enjoy it. I gotta read it more again.
Last Movie: Polar Express. A Christmas classic. It can't get any better. Hot Chocolate gets me in a chokehold each year.
Last TV Show: Gargoyles!! I started watching it cause I always wondered what the show was. I'm a sucker for monsters and dark fantasy and it seems to have a bit of that.
Favorite Color: Greeeeeen. I love greens so much. Growing on orange as well, but green is special.
Spicy, sweet, or savory: Give me them savory foods. Yum yum!
Current obsession: World of Warcraft. Again. Until the game dies I will never not obsess over it. If I could draw humanoids well enough, I'd be drawing night elves all over this blog.
Last Search: Apartments in my city. I'm planning on moving out sometime this year and phew these places ain't cheap. But I wanna have my own space, cook my own foods, decorate how I want. The freedom! The freedom I tell you!!
Looking Forward To: Learning Clip Studio Paint, getting back into comics, completing my Twitch set-up, FINALLY starting commissions this year, moving out, a whole bunch of stuff ^^
