urgent help!

as you guys know my grandparents got scammed months ago, some man told them he was going to send them medical equipment they needed for $500 dollars, we were desperate, not only they lost all the money they had, my grandpa has gotten significantly worse, he's starting to lose vision in his good eye and my grandma is losing mobility as well (evidence), I know I sound annoying always coming here and begging for money for my grandparents and for my college, I don't know how to anticipate the grief, losing my grandpa everyday to his illness, losing my college education cause I can't afford it, in México the situation it's just getting worse and even though I feel lonely I have found a community here and I'm forever grateful for that, even a dollar goes a long way and all the money will go to their medical needs since I'm very sure I won't be able to cover college expenses, please share and donate if you can, you can help via p*ypal or any way you want through ko-fi, here's the link! 💕 thank you sm

Scott wrapped an arm around his friend. It made him realize how small his friend looked without his wings. Warren wasn’t a scrawny guy but without the wings he looked like half the person he used to be. In a way, he probably was.

Warren hit the floor again for the umpteenth time that day. He didn't even process Scott hitting him till he’s already on the ground. "You all good to go again?" Scott reaches out a hand to help him up. No, Warren thinks, I'm tired, I'm sore, I'm not getting any better. It doesn't even look like Scott's breaking a sweat. Maybe…maybe he just isn't meant to fight. Maybe Warren can just be the pretty face, bank roll the team, sit on the sidelines while they do what he clearly can't. Then he feels that pit in his stomach again. He takes Scott's hand. "Sure. One more round." Scott clenches his jaw as he helps Warren back up. “Alright. One more.”

My woke take, as someone who has worked in both a public library and a school library, is that we desperately need both more books that are at a higher reading level but a less mature subject matter, and more books that are at a lower reading level but a more mature subject matter, because 8 year olds who are advanced readers are still 8 year olds and don't want to read about graphic violence and torture, and teens and adults who have learning difficulties or who are just later readers for whatever reason are still teens and adults and don't want to read about Billy the Bunny going to school or whatever the hell.
