There are lots of sites on the internet dedicated to gaming or crafting, but this site will focus on Print and Play games. Looking at the construction process and the game itself. It can be a task and a half when you down load a bunch of files you have to make them into a usable and playable game. On this Tumblr group is for the blog which explore different way to construct games, the tools and what is best to come up with high quality results. We will also try to compile a source for supplies and resources I can offer in one place. Some game files will be condensed into printer friendly JPGs to save on paper. Any games we construct will be hosted on DropBox, if you sign up and use the desktop app you can have these files delivered straight to your computer. Some people have ask if it would be cheaper to just go and buy new boxed version. There is a long and complex answer for this which covers many of the reasons We love Print and Play games.

Shortly after finishing the Prediction Deck I thought I should turn my hand to making the expansions as it seems these haven't been done by Ilya 77, and as I had the templates for the cards this one would be easy to do. One of the trickiest parts was finding new artwork, lucky I had found...

Converted from the Fantasy Flight Games Rex, the Betrayal cards add yet more ways to screw your friends over. Not that there are enough ways to screw with your friends in the Dune board game. These are easy to make up and fit in with the Ilya 77 theme, there are cards on Arts Cow, however I...

While constructing Ilya’s version of dune, I noticed that the prediction card that someone else created wasn’t quite up to the same standard. After much deliberation, about 10 mins. I had a look around and saw another design in which there was a prediction deck. This was a great idea as it…
Cthulinária wasn't too hard to build, though I went the extra mile and made some custom pieces and tokens which made the version I use a bit more of a challenge to build. I have added the files to DropBox should you choose to make them. The basic game is easy to construct, it's basically...
The only thing that can take away my love for 3M Spray Mount is my love for 3M Display Mount (3M Super 77 in the US). This stuff is like the glue you can only dream about. Well not quite but it’s good stuff anyway. It is similar to 3M Spray Mount in that it comes from a spray can in a fine particle spray and is easy to apply and use. Now it differs it allows limited repositionability...

I’m not posting the first card technique as it’s pretty much the same but using PVA/Water based glue which results in cards and pieces warping over time. After making some 300+ print and play game cards I think I’m pretty good at things now. Though like all people I still make mistakes by rushing and using cheaper or the wrong tools and supplies.
My love affair with 3M Spray Mount began many years ago back in the dark ages of my life, formerlly known as college. This was the magic glue that was useful for all your design needs, it was like gold dust, in fact we estimated we had a greater chance of finding gold dust in college. Even back then it was pricey and it’s remained expensive, but it’s worth
Right off the bat downloading the R.I.G.S. files and opening the PDF you’re given a monumental list of items to print. However the designer has put some forethought in here and offers alternatives, by using money from another game, poker chips or coloured tokens. This as it means right off the bat the designer is thinking about the person printing and way they can customise the feel and look of the game. In the future there might be a lot of different variants of this game, providing the rest of R.I.G.S holds up
