An idea that’s been on my head for quite a while; Barriss and Ahsoka playing video games. Behind them is indeed a poster of my all time favorite Star Wars game of all time, Rouge Squadron on the N64.

Come to think of it, I guess this picture is also my way to, what’s the word, honor LucasArts and the Clone Wars series, two Star Wars properties that unfortunately were recently canned and finished.

Post Clone Wars Ahsoka Tano and Barriss Offee. They both wear similar pieces or armor, but the rest of their outfits have some differences. Since I picture them being 10 years older here, that would mean Ahsoka is 27, and Barriss is 29. And I’m playing with the idea about whether their new lighsabers should have the same colors from their preivous ones, or new ones instead.

Usually I’d post older works on Thursdays, but I decide to post this one immediately. This is from 2011, almost 7 years old; back when I made this, I stated that I wanted to depict a scene inspired to the one that happened in episode 3 when Obi Wan and Anakin say their farewells before they parted away to their separate missions. Here is a “what might had happened” when Barriss was leaving to go to Felucia, which in the old canon is the place where she perished due to Order 66 happening. Obviously this was made before what happened on season 5, so now this illustration would be more of an AU of if Barriss did not fell to the dark side and all that other stuff that happened. Now it’s a bittersweet picture to look at.

Honestly I’m still not over this scene. Like… she cuts a square hole. Literally no one else in star wars has ever done that. It’s so unnecessary. A circle allows for a continuous cutting motion, where Barriss here has to pause four times to make a 90° angle. There’s literally no reason to do this. Why are you the way you are, Barriss Offee?

Love how, in canon, they left the jedi order and lived happily together as renegade girlfriends in the outer rim. In canon that happened.
