I was wondering what brushes u usw

The vast majority of what I use is actually the default round and soft round brushes on Photoshop! Soft Round is my pinnacle for shading.

Besides those, some of my go-tos for a bit of texture look like this

I tend to use a brush with a higher pen pressure threshold for sketching, but other than that I think my brushes come down to personal preference. There’s nothing these brushes can do that Default Round can’t accomplish to some degree.

I use basically any textured brush with Transfer for painting  and detailing whether it be default round a brush literally made from the silhouette of a character because the shape of a brush is really that flexible to me.
