I’ve got two tattoos, myself, and I’ve gone with some wicked hair colours in my time, so I’m all for it. I definitely recommend trying everything once, and at least if you hate either of them, you can opt to dye your hair back or get your tattoo removed. You’re never really too far from a solution.

You’re living my dream drastic change here. I don’t even have a single tattoo, always been too worried that as an actor at the start of my career that it could cause some tension with roles and such. What are your tattoos of?

Yeah, man! I’m a natural brunette so I’ve had to go different shades of blonde, blue and red for American Horror Story so I got a little experience in the whole hair dyeing thing. I got’chu. Consider me your new personal hairdresser.

Blue and red too? Now I would never be able to pull that off. It’s either a drastic change in my hair or I may just say screw it and get a huge tattoo or something. Like of a giant eagle fighting a bear as a chest piece or something.

Weirdly enough — I loved the green. Mainly because it wasn’t outrageous, but still added nice colour to my hair. It wasn’t your typical emerald green, though. It was more like a highlighter green? I had it weaved into my dreads too, and honestly, it’s one of my all-time favourite looks. Aw, babes, of course you might regret it, but how will you know unless you actually try?

i don’t think i could ever rock a highlighter green as well as you can, but the excitement of having it is super tempting. i think i’m just in need of some change, it’s either this or some tattoo and at least hair is fairly temporary.

As much as I’d love to give you some advice on it, taking advice from the kid who hasn’t cut his hair in a good year isn’t the best idea. Although, if your gut says to do it. Do it man.

I’m in the same boat, been growing it out ever since I had to go with a bowlcut for a role. I’m torn, it’s a difficult choice. I just need to do something thrilling — need the adrenaline rush.

As someone who’s bleached his hair on many occasions I say go for it, man. It can’t look that bad. Besides, if it does look like shit then at least it’ll grow out fast or you can just dye it back to your normal color or wear a hat. Easy to hide. Trust me, I’m a pro on all things hair.

It is an easy fix, you’re right. Not like I’m blond and going brown or anything drastic like that. You got some experience with bleaching? I might need some help.

Glad to be able to help out. I always enjoy a good hair change every now and then. That seems fair, I’ll be there with plastic gloves and everything to help you out. Cowboy boots could be fun. Maybe a new hobby if you’re feeling restless?

Hobbies are a bit of a struggle for me, I can be a perfectionist when it comes to things I do so if I’m not immediately good at it, then I get frustrated. What would be something good to pick up? Knitting?

I think it’s always fun to experiment — now that I’m getting older, I tend to prefer more neutral tones, but while you’re young and free, you should having all the fun in the world with that hair of yours.

now that you’re mentioning some options, i think i may go drastic with it. i grow so bored sometimes-- might just smoke and do something crazy. i have a feeling i’ll end up regretting it though. what was your favorite hair color on yourself? purple?

Yes definitely do it. Who cares what you’re sister says. Sometimes siblings just like to mess with us all. Sometimes a change is all we really need. I support all hair changeups always.

I think you’re the only one who will support me on this and I completely love you for it. If I need any help bleaching, I’m calling you, warning you now. I need some kind of change, I’m not sure what. Should I start wearing cowboy boots or something?

i hate to be that person but i’ve been holding back bleaching my hair and i think i might just do it this weekend. be honest, my sister has already roasted me on how it’s going to look. should i do it? or should i just do something equally as thrilling? @fairpondstarters

That’s definitely what they do and who am I to question if that works? I’ll get started on cute tinfoil hats for us. I am too, it’s one of my bigger flaws. We’ll just have to go and try for ourselves and hope our hats keep us safe.

we can even make different ones like birthday hat ones or ones with devil horns . it’ll be a real look , i promise . so dinner with tin foil hats , maybe we should contact area 51 beforehand . let them know if we need back up. you got them on speed dial by chance ?
