I know we’ve all talked about the fact that Dani’s wearing the same sweater from The Lake Night as a ghost, implying a sort of death happened that evening to keep her in those clothes in the afterlife. Have we also discussed how Jamie and Dani are both wearing the same shirt and sweater the first night they sleep together as the very first time they met? Because. If there’s something to be said for a ghost wearing what they (or a piece of them, perhaps the potential for a future free of death’s touch) died in, I feel like there’s also something to be said for this choice. The idea that from the costuming alone, these two were always going to find one another, let one another in to build a safe space and a home together, from their very first interaction.
