If you participate or encourage this “give Jensen lube prank”, this is what you’re doing/encouraging.

You’re encouraging people to make Jensen extremely uncomfortable. There’s a big difference between giving gifts like chocolates or letters and giving him lube. You have no idea how he’s going to react, it is better to not risk it in hopes of a positive reaction when it is likely to not be one. It might throw Jensen back into his shell. He’s talked about how much he’s opened up during conventions recently and it is very obvious. He might get so uncomfortable or unsure of what to say or do, that he might retreat into his shell. And it might weight on his mind during future conventions, and I don’t want him to be cautious every time a fan hands him something.

If it is ship related (whichever ship), you’re just gonna make Jensen apprehensive about ships. And whatever ship related outcome you plan on seeing will not happen.

Plus extra precautions regarding gifts or items given to the actors might be taken. No one wants anyone to be uncomfortable during a convention, and the organizers will pay extra attention to how actors feel. And if this prank does go through, you never know what rules are gonna come into place when giving things to the Supernatural cast or other cast.

Seriously you guys, what the fuck? Why do you feel the need to make Jensen uncomfortable and laugh at him? Why would you do that to anyone? Just because Jensen takes his time out of work and away from his family to see us fans, doesn’t mean that we can make him uncomfortable or self conscious and call it a joke or call it love. It’s not love to make someone feel uneasy, especially when you don’t know how Jensen will react to something like this.
