Plan With Me for November in my Bullet Journal!
Plan With Me for November in my hobonichi!
A new video! Here’s how I plan all my assignments and how I’ll get them done during my final exam period at university!
I made my master exam to do list today (I've had it in my scratch notebook for almost a week!)
All set for a long day at uni!
My study snack plate: dairy, protein, fruit, fibre, a couple of treats and of course peppermint tea!
Got myself a snapchat! What are all of your snapchats?
Welcome to my Sunday - aka RIP me
Unboxing a group order from hobonichi! Tumblr: timeturnerrequired.tumblr.com Music: Light of the Seven (Ramin Djawadi), This is How it Ends (Murray Gold)
Second Hobonichi Haul! (I organised a group order!)
Unboxing my first of two hobonichi orders for 2017 and talking briefly about my setup and current cover :) Tumblr: timeturnerrequired.tumblr.com Items mentio...
Filmed my first ever youtube video - it seemed fitting that it was for my first ever Hobonichi order/ haul!
On confidence, or a lack thereof...
I scoff at most superstitions but over the past few years, I have become more and more superstitious with my academics. For a long time I have refused to talk or think about tests after taking them - my theory is if I think or say that I did well I will end up doing poorly. I now also do not allow myself think about think about the thought of receiving a good mark on an essay and tell myself that I will be happy with a H2b (second class honours, lower division) when, in reality, I would be shattered.
How I Plan: University Assignments
One of my favourite things as a nerd who loves excel is at the start of a semester when I’m given all assignment and test dates is to plan out when I will do each part of one.
The reason I do this (apart from an obsession with excel and colour coding) is that often several due dates seem to be close together so this theoretically reduces my stress levels and makes me get stuff done when I need it and avoid procrastination. Given that I’m procrastinating by writing this post while I should be working on my French presentation that I’m behind on is a testament to how the latter works (or doesn’t!)...
In this post I’m going to walk you through how I set up this document at the start of semester.
Planning everything that needs to go on my weekend spread - I have so much to do!
I'm procrastinating less on writing notes/ listening to lectures just because I've bought a fountain pen? :o
How I Plan: my bullet journal as a study tool
It’s my belief that a bullet journal should first and foremost be a productivity tool. As I described in my previous post, I actually don’t use my bullet journal for daily, weekly or monthly spreads which means that its only purpose is to house my collections and study-related spreads.
This post is to show how I use my bullet journal to aid my education and hopefully give you some ideas about ways that you could use yours as well. My university’s academic year runs from March to November and is broken up into two semesters. In each semester I do 4 subjects.
