A small restaurant on Bleecker Street in New York City was celebrating Osama Bin Laden's death by offering customers a discount on their lunch. I had to wonder if they were actually celebrating or if they were just trying to get more business.

These awesome treats are cake pops from Starbucks. The company launched them a little over a month ago and I haven't been able to get enough of them ever since. This is a picture I took of all the birthday cake pops that my amazing friends bought for me for my birthday. The pops come in three flavors consisting of birthday cake, tiramisu, and rocky road. All three varieties are actually cakes that are blended with icing then dipped in white chocolate or chocolate. Starbucks boasts that these pops are low in calories but when you can eat AT LEAST three a day like I can it really adds up!
"Forgive and forget. That's what they say. It's good advice, but it's not very practical. When someone hurts us, we want to hurt them back. When someone wrongs us, we want to be right. Without forgiveness, old scores are never settled…old wounds never heal. And the most we can hope for, is that one day we'll be lucky enough to forget" - Grey's Anatomy
Over the past few weeks I have watched Grey's Anatomy from Season 1 through Season 6. Each episode starts and ends with some incredible dialogue. This is just one quote of many that really speak to my heart. I am great at forgiving and terrible at forgetting.
I want to dedicate my first post to the Monmouth County SPCA. They are by far the cleanest, friendliest, and most caring animal shelter I’ve been able to visit. They not only rescue animals from the Monmouth County area but will actually go to other states that are experiencing “at capacity” situations, and bring those animals to their shelter for adoption. They hold formal programs where people can learn about adopting or volunteering and they also hold informal programs where people can learn more about the misconceived pit bull breed.
