I haven’t forgotten about my art blog. So have an update! This is me, the mod, posing as the old man shrugging meme. Image is transparent.

Currently nameless and based off of my Subeta HA, TADA. This took for ever to finish. I sketched it eons ago with the help of a pose base then I had to figure everything else out. I may tweek a few things later but she’s done!

I Think the feature I’m most proud of aside from her bust looking actually like a bust is her legs.

A completed work from 2018. I had the privilege to go to their American Tour last year in good old Philadelphia PA. My first concert with them back in 2017 was in Cleveland OH and they didn’t sing the live version of this song. However, in PA they did and it blew my mind.

Lets just say I was inspired.

As for the crown and cape, I based them on Swedish Royalty. The color pallet was also inspired by the winter climate Sweden often is known for.

The Purple Unicorn Stallion is Scholar Wand. Son of Bonsai Boon and Maple Spirit, he too was born outside of Equestria. Being of gentle spirit despite his warrior birth right, Scholar’s ambitions lead him on the quest for knowledge. After earning enough to immigrate to Equestria on that search, Scholar settled in the fabled Royal City of Canterlot. There he found a job at a small book shop on the corner of a rather busy street and began his new life. Mastering another language did take time, but he had help. He had met Water Breeze and her weather patrol unit that so happened to be visiting Canterlot for vacation only a few short months into his new life. Together they not only taught each other about their worlds but eventually fell in love. Shortly after their marriage Scholar purchased the book store from his former boss.

The blue Pegasus Mare is Water Breeze. Daughter of Fiddle Cogs and Fae Wing, the early years of fillyhood were not particularly easy. With her already famous father always away on business, she and her mother normally spent holidays alone. She was never an unruly child because of it, only more grateful for the time her family was together. Soon after Water was born her mother retired from the Circus. This didn’t stop her from teaching her daughter a few family tricks though and once Water Breeze had discovered her special talent with water heavy clouds she put those tricks to good use. Joining the Weather team in Cloudsdale soon after becoming of age, Water Breeze found herself traveling far and wide to help with drought and other water related events. Into her 5th year of service she was convinced by her fellow unit members to finally go on that Canterlot Tour they had all been gossiping about since the training academy. After seeing Scholar Wand outside of a dusty old book shop sweeping the sidewalk it was fate.

Second Pair! Look at this, I’m on a rooooooll! 

The blue Unicorn is Bonsai Boon. Hailing from the Orient, as sighted by his curled horn, Bonsai Boon is a member of the warrior class of unicorns. His odd markings would have originally dictated his destiny if it had not been for his quiet and soft demeanor. Sure, Bonsai is a towering stallion, but his special talent lies in the ancient and respectable art of Bonsai keeping.

The red Unicorn is Maple Spirit. Hailing from the Orient, as sighted by her curled horn, Maple Spirit is a member of the cultivating class of unicorns. Her slightly more curled horn is put to use for plant growth with a specialty in trees. Maple’s skill lies mostly with the Orient’s Maple. A beautiful tree that sports scarlet red leaves in the fall.

Bonsai Boon and Maple Spirit are Scholar Wand’s parents. They were both born in the Orient, a foreign land to Equestria. While they have visited their son and his family every few years both of their Equestrian is far from perfect. In fact to this day Scholar has to translate when the language is lost between everypony. Both are still alive and the last time the visited was during Fiddle Cogs’ funeral.

Both families are very close, even if they hail from two different worlds.

[ As a note due to the Legend of Mist Mane episode showing oriental unicorns and their home world, I’m still going with my own version. So if the information differs or is similar its alright. I’m not worried about it. The only thing they share is the curled horn. I did make that canon. ]

Alright! So, for the second time ever these two are the first half of Tinker Glide’s grandparents. These two are her mother’s (Water Breeze) parents.

The pink Pegasus is Fae Wing. Her family comes from a long line of circus performing show stoppers. Her act was known as the Delicate Lace Pirouette. An act that launched her from the bottom of the vast open topped tent to about 300 feet in the air where with only using her wings to slow fall she performed entire Ballet. Sometimes she had a partner, most of the time however she was a solo actress. Her ‘unicornesc’ tail can only be explained by her family’s generations of traveling in the circus life. As a widow. Fae Wing now lives with her daughter Water Breeze and son in law Scholar Wand (Tinker’s Parents).

The gray Pegasus is Fiddle Cogs. A renowned inventor across Equestia and even in parts beyond. Fiddle Cogs is mostly noted for his invention of the flying machine in its earlier forms. He belonged to an elite team under Princess Celestia’s supervision to better push their country forward in technology. This esentric stallion hails from Cloudsdale and often loved to talk the big talk about his adventures in far away lands looking for the best materials for his projects to his only granddaughter: TinkerGlide. Fiddle Cogs is deceased.

Its ok to feel this way. It’s ok to feel sad. It won’t be all the time, eventually I’ll feel alright again. There is no shame in tears. So please, just let me cry.

Just some vent art. Life is a hectic spiral of never ending twists. I’ve been handling alot of extra stuff lately, hopefully I can get the ball rolling again on updates. Just hang in there, its all I ask.

This is Fiction Chanter. If any of you have been around for a long time you might recognize the name for this post: click here! (This was posted 5 years ago. Yeeeesh.)

Fiction is a hybrid between the show’s Siren and the created race known as the Succubus Pony. She is able to feed off of the magic of unicorns, and store the negative energy created by her Siren antics. Thus she is capable of storing food for a long period of time. She also shows ‘ancient’ traits of the Succubus. This is not be accident... she is quite old. As for her ‘extra’ powers, well you’ll just have to wait and see. What role will she have to play in Tinker’s story? You’ll know pretty soon!

Hello! This is @ask-tinker-glide. I’ve always wanted to run a mod blog, attempted to a few years back and then lost the ability to get into said blog. So here we are again. This time this blog is just a subblog to the original [ this also means that the old mod blog is dead.]. Feel free to ask of me anything!
