Do I “enjoy” rpf? Did Sisyphus enjoy that boulder? Did Icarus enjoy his fall? Did Prometheus enjoy the eagle? Did
when frank langdon has this realization in therapy about Mel versus how he used to feel about Abby then what
(no beers in) So how do you perceive me in the privacy of your thoughts
my two cents: firstly op, 10/10 detective work, thank you for your service.
b - they were setting kingdon up as rollins aka sitting in the ambulance but then changed their minds to have them be standing and made the ambulance bay their own thing.
in conclusion- was going to be a doomed romance but now we have solid ground for will be a romance and NOT like rollins because will be successful

just watched the film!
you seem pretty squatted for a boy so in backpain
hilarious that aaron sorkin had one trick to get his protagonist to see a therapist and it was that they weren't sleeping and then they tell the therapist their whole life story and the therapist says theyre not sleeping because of bacon or cigarettes or something lmao

thinking about Joan Didion’s essay on self respect and how one of the examples she gives is: someone that commits adultery but has self respect doesn’t try to justify it or explain it away or even run to the wronged parties for absolution or complain about unfairness. Instead they find a separate peace, a courage of their mistakes, an awareness of the process of things. I think ultimately that’s what I find intriguing about kingdon both theoretically and in a lot of my favorite fics. The only remorse Frank and Mel tend to feel is if they think his kids are going to be impacted. Otherwise they generally have an acute understanding that they’re cheating and they’re never malicious but they’re also never apologetic or contrite about it. They have this weird awareness that they were always going to end up together, because it felt right in ways they couldn’t explain. and I personally really enjoy the courage of their convictions and the character they display, aka the self respect they have to know the truth almost objectively.
pball and tdeardz puppy interview when
Do I think the man who was too cheap to hire movers is canonically happy in a marriage to a woman who wanted a $13,000 handbag for her birthday?
The thing that’s always missing from the “women didn’t fight for the right to work they were already working they fought to get paid” is that many women also very much wanted to work.
Women wanted to be lawyers and engineers and chemists. They wanted to use their brains in challenging and interesting ways. They wanted to get the satisfaction from solving problems and inventing new shit and getting attention for it.
I know not everyone is born with intellectual curiosity or drive or determination but some people are and many of those people are women.
you just KNOW I’m over employed when I haven’t made a post about how insane Amanda and Sean are being on the podcast lately
