My hand-painted Dune book! I painted this a while ago, around when Dune Part II came out.

For this book, I wanted to try painting it so that the edges all blended into each other to look like one long vertical painting. Overall, I’m really happy with the result and plan on doing this on more books soon!

Feel like I am kinda the ideal audience for Dune: Prophecy whether or not the show turns out to be actually "good."

Love the world of Dune even when it's insane and makes no sense, but not so precious about the text that I care that the show is based on (gasp) Brian Herbert canon

Haven't watched any of the other Desperately Milking Our One Mega-Successful IP shows, so if it's a retread of Rings of Prime or the white-haired incest family show I will neither know nor care

dune's world is both so fascinating and so completely hindered by the weight of the themes that make it so interesting. I wish there was more time exploring the world & philosophy of the Atreides house before they're slaughtered. No I will not read the brian herbert books
