Happy birthday, Elizabeth Mitchell! (March 27, 1970)
Mulder, it’s the dim hope of finding that proof that’s kept us in this car or one very much like it for more nights than I care to remember. Driving hundreds, if not thousands of miles, through neighborhoods and cities and towns, where people are raising families and buying homes and playing with their kids and dogs and in short, living their lives. While we… we… we just keep driving.
So if your mom is my mom and my dad is your dad and we’re both born on October 11th, then you and I are… like… sisters!
this is all happening because they left. i think it will stop if I can bring them back.
life is so much simpler when you stop explaining yourself to people and just do what works for you
Let her be everything because she is everything. (insp.)
Do we have a winner? Yes sir, we do.
I feel like I’ve lost sight of myself, Mulder. It’s hard to see, let alone find, in the darkness of covert locations. I mean, I wish I could say that we were going in circles, but we’re not. We’re going in an endless line, two steps forward and three steps back. While my own life is standing still.

Iceland, just the hint of the aurora looking out to the mountains beyond Thingvellir. A perfect night.
