Foods that will literally save you
Rice cakes - plain ones are 30 cal each, flavored ones range from 35-50 each. They come in sweet and savory flavors for cravings
Grapefruit - 80 for a whole fruit, which is super filling, sweet, has loads of fiber, and is a citrus. CITRUS HELPS WEIGHT LOSS!
Riced cauliflower - A cup of this stuff frozen is 20-25 calories. A whole bag usually has 4 cups so that means a big filling meal for 80 to 100 calories. Super healthy but so filling.
Spinach - It has iron (so you donāt feel faint, have healthy skin, hair, and nails), and is legit 7 calories per cup. Throw it in salads, sautee it, steam it, put it in smoothies, or dip it in humus.
Skinny Pop - Popcorn, but at 39 calories a cup. Not very filling, but really helpful for a movie snack so you donāt feel left out.
Homemade soup - If you use vegetable seasoning/broth/bullion and add in your own veggies (mushrooms, carrots, celery, broccoli etc), it comes out to about 35 calories per cup. Its v healthy and great for those days that you just canāt warm up.
Low-fat greet yogurt - Varies per brand, but the Fage 2% that comes in a cup is 150 for the whole thing. Makes a good snack or breakfast, especially with some berries on top. It has a ton of calcium and protein to keep you full for hours.
Low calorie stir fry - vegan
100g shiritaki noodles - 8 kcal
2 Tbs Soy sauce - 16 kcal
Any stir fry mix without edamame (I use a pepper mix one from Waitrose - 36 kcal)
Total: 50 kcal
You can leave it there or add a protein (just season with soy sauce and garlic)
Tofu - 72 kcal per 100g (vegan)
Tempeh- 193 kcal per 100g (vegan)
Soya strips- 74 kcal per 100g (vegan)
Egg white (unseasoned) - 19 kcal per egg (vegetarian)
Whole egg (unseasoned) - 79 kcal per egg (vegetarian)
Shrimp- 99 kcal per 100g
Chicken breast - 197 kcal per 100g
