Goodbye Tumblr

This week has been among the most awful I ever had to experience. I’m not exagerating, I lost both my grandmom and grandad in basically two days, I had bad experiences at my job on which I won’t dwell, all kind of mishaps and now, to top it off, I’ll be closing the single social account on which I reached a sum of 1000 devote followers to which I wanted to dedicate my time to. Fuck you Tumblr, fuck you and your hypocritical puritan shit. In the pathetic post listing your new rules you say you want to protect us, that you care about us, you always wanted to sound warmer than any other social media by putting stupid stuff in your options like “we will allow to remove adds when we won’t live in a capitalist society anymore” hell you go so far as to have the pretenciouseness of trying to sound like you’re human when there are new notifications to read: “Zack, your post has been subitted!” “Hey, Nicknamehere94 posted something, we know he’s your favorite” “Look Nicknamehere91 is back!” I always thought it was kind of creepy, but now it’s especially daunting. Many say this place turned into hell anyways, well Tumblr wasn’t hell to me, I liked it, even with all the undoubtedly hellish shit going on the darn thing. I won’t act like leaving it with this account is going to be a liberation of some kind. I cared about it. And because of it you get the biggest, THICKEST middle finger imaginable.

If you any of you guys want to help out please open my blog and you’ll find basically everywhere a post on which I listed all of my sites. PLEASE REBLOG THE LAST ONE, on the others I put the wrong link to FA.

Don’t just delete the app or your blogs, give them 1 star in the google play store (Cause it’s still there). That huge number of 5 stars needs to go down. Tumblr is killing itself with it’s new purge/ban on Adult Content and they need to see in as many ways as possible how much they’ve fucked up.

Yes, we have seen the news! We are planning to have the site back up either tomorrow or Wednesday; we just have a couple last security measures we want to put in place today, but we will be working on it as quickly as possible and we will have a clearer ETA by tonight.

We will also try to come up with a way to lower the barrier to entry for new users, though we don’t want to drop the entry fee entirely because a) we feel that would be unfair to our users who have paid for their registration keys and b) we don’t think our servers could handle a massive influx of new users right now, so we’re going to try to allow as many new users as we can without capsizing the boat. We appreciate your patience and will have more details soon!

Spread this around. Tumblr is, on the 17th of this month, switching ALL blogs containing porn to private mode, viewable only by the creator, removing them from the search algorithms altogether. Effectively a ban. This blog and many others like it will be removed in an effort to make the platform more friendly for our corporate overlords over at Apple, from the sounds of it.
