Iâm gonna reblog this forever and ever and ever and ever
This is the greatest progression of events I have ever read, whereâs my historical gay romance novel about this
KING JAMES, CAN YOU CHILL?
Local King Cannot Stop Promoting His Boyfriend
whereâs the lush period drama about this series of events?
fun thing about king James, this guy was fairly public about his bf (more public than what was acceptable). He threw lots of extravagant parties with his man on his arm. It pissed off the church obviously so to get them off his back, heâs the one that ordered the third translation of the Bible from Hebrew to English (the King James Version aka the Authorized Version) so the Bible every hot blooded all American Christian reads today was literally just written so a very gay king could fuck his boyfriend in peace.
so is Victory

Well that was unexpected...
For a growing number of American kids, porn is their sex ed. Now Pornhub is hoping to offer their audience some more formal lessons in how to be a healthy and happy sexual being.
On Wednesday, the massive adult entertainment destination took the somewhat surprising step of launching the âPornhub Sexual Health Center.â Theyâre hoping the free sub-site will become a go-to resource for some of their 70 million daily users on all manner of topics, including STIs, sexual safety and how to manage relationships.
Theyâve chosen Dr. Laurie Betito, a renowned sex therapist, to direct the site and theyâll also be working with a number of doctors, therapists and other experts to offer advice and answer questions. Corey Price, Pornhubâs Vice President, told Mashable, âOur goal is to provide our visitors with a site that has credible and insightful information, rather than have them scouring the internet.â
While itâs a database theyâll build up over time, a first look reveals theyâve started with the fundamentals â with answers to things like âBabies. Where do they come from?â and âAre there really three holes?â These might seems almost laughably basic to adult consumers of hardcore porn, but there are a lot of young people for whom these are very real questions.
Price told Mashable they werenât aiming the content specifically at beginners. He said they simply want to appeal to âthose who are looking for trustworthy sex tips and health advice provided by experts.â But it seems like they realize this could prove to be an especially valuable resource for their younger audience, who most likely isnât getting comprehensive (much less sex-positive) sex ed in schools.
There are, of course, plenty of online sexual health and education resources, but for many kids, landing on sites like Pornhub is already their way into learning about sex. Porn can obviously teach you plenty about the basics and mechanics of intercourse, but thereâs a whole range of other things â biology, health, consent, relating to intimate partners, just to name a few â that you wonât pick up from watching videos like âBig tits round assesâ or âSloppy throat games.â
So if they can slide their curious audience over to the PSHC while theyâre already on the site, it could function as pretty useful one-stop shop for filling in the blanks left by spotty sex ed classes and the birds and bees talks given by often bewildered parents.
Neat!
Holy shit their section on trans people was actually really good and not what I expected from something hosted by a porn site! If they had a containing various sexualities and whatnot as well, theyâll definitely have a good resource on their hands!
when a god damn porn site has better information about trans health than most school systems

a restaurant in my hometown got a review that said the servers should âshow some skinâ so the owner added a potato skin special to the menu and all the proceeds from the special go to the west virginia foundation for rape information services (x)
Thatâs exactly the appropriate response.
male entitlement in academic spaces is so boring. canât tell you how many times iâve been in a class and a girl gives a short, insightful analysis, and then a dude raises his hand and says âjumping off of thatâŠâ then says literally the same thing she said but longer and worse.
Washington state AG Bob Fergusonâs response to Trumpâs tweet đ
âIn response to the Presidentâs tweet â well. WâuhhâŠha. We have seen him in court, twice, and weâre two for two.â
i have some issues with my past self but she was young and i forgive her my real beef is with present me what is she doing im embarrassed to even look

The 9th Circuit Court of Appealsâ unanimous decision to uphold the stay on Donald Trumpâs Muslim ban met with a giant internet reaction. Naturally, our President wanted to weigh in. His tweet included a phrase many found amusing. (See More)

"Should parents read their daughter's texts or monitor her online activity for bad language and inappropriate content?"
Earlier today, I served as the âyoung womanâs voiceâ in a panel of local experts at a Girl Scouts speaking event. One question for the panel was something to the effect of, âShould parents read their daughterâs texts or monitor her online activity for bad language and inappropriate content?â
I was surprised when the first panelist answered the question as if it were about cyberbullying. The adult audience nodded sagely as she spoke about the importance of protecting children online.
I reached for the microphone next. I said, âAs far as reading your childâs texts or logging into their social media profiles, I would say 99.9% of the time, do not do that.â
Looks of total shock answered me. I actually saw heads jerk back in surprise. Even some of my fellow panelists blinked.
Everyone stared as I explained that going behind a childâs back in such a way severs the bond of trust with the parent. When I said, âThis is the most effective way to ensure that your child never tells you anything,â it was like Iâd delivered a revelation.
Itâs easy to talk about the disconnect between the old and the young, but I donât think Iâd ever been so slapped in the face by the reality of it. It was clear that for most of the parents I spoke to, the idea of such actions as a violation had never occurred to them at all.
It alarms me how quickly adults forget that children are people.
Apparently people are rediscovering this post somehow and I think thatâs pretty cool! Having experienced similar violations of trust in my youth, this is an important issue to me, so I want to add my personal story:
Around age 13, I tried to express to my mother that I thought I might have clinical depression, and she snapped at me ânot to joke about things like that.â I stopped telling my mother when I felt depressed.
Around age 15, I caught my mother reading my diary. She confessed that any time she saw me write in my diary, she would sneak into my room and read it, because I only wrote when I was upset. I stopped keeping a diary.
Around age 18, I had an emotional breakdown while on vacation because I didnât want to go to college. I ended up seeing a therapist for - surprise surprise - depression.
Around age 21, I spoke on this panel with my mother in the audience, and afterwards I mentioned the diary incident to her with respect to this particular Q&A. Her eyes welled up, and she said, âYou know I read those because I was worried you were depressed and going to hurt yourself, right?â
TL;DR: When you invade your childâs privacy, you communicate three things:
You do not respect their rights as an individual.
You do not trust them to navigate problems or seek help on their own.
You probably havenât been listening to them.
Information about almost every issue that you think you have to snoop for can probably be obtained by communicating with and listening to your child.
Part of me is really excited to see that the original post got 200 notes because holy crap 200 notes, and part of me is really saddened that something so negative has resonated with so many people.
so apparently iâm only motivated to draw these guys now so have another outlaws drawing (iâm so sorry for this lineart omg (and that backround, just⊠no (itâs three AM ok iâm not in condition to create a masterpiece (also, every time i post something i think âthis is it, this is where they realize i suckâ)))
You shush this is an utter delight
Pray for EspĂrito Santo, pray for Brazil.
EspĂrito Santo, a state in Brazil, is in complete chaos, a sort of chaos that is being compared to the film The Purge, where for 12 hours there were no laws and no rules. Except here, itâs been two days already.
The National Media is suppressing it all, the only way people IN Brazil are aware of what has been happening is through Twitter, because the media is ignoring it all.
The Military police went on strike for better payment, thugs are literally ruling the streets and running riots. There is murder, rape and looting. Just this morning, more than 16 people have been murdered.
In two days, more than 50 people have died, stores are being robbed in daylight, buses are being set on fire and dead bodies are left lying in the streets, according to the Daily Mail, which is one of the only medias spreading whatâs going on. Only international media is talking about it and giving it attention. Brazilâs media is literally suppressing it completely, we woke up with news about the sunset in Rio and whatâs been going on in Big Brother Brazil, there are countless news about Carnaval, but nothing about EspĂrito Santo.
And this is just a little bit of whatâs happening. People are running down the streets with guns in their hands, people canât get out of their houses, people are dying, ES is being ran by thugs and no one is talking about it. No one mentions it. PLEASE, spread this somehow, tell people whatâs been going on, demand attention.Â
If this was happening in France or in the UK, people would be all over it, celebs would have âpray for brazil/esâ all over their social media profiles, but when it happens in Latin America people ignore it.
There is a tag on twitter called â#ESpedesocorroâ, ES asks for help, where Brazilian people have been sharing videos and images of whatâs been going on, because our media is not, and begging for prayers and help. You can watch some videos here: [x], [x], [x], [x], [x].
Thereâs nothing on TV about this, just NOW, after three days our president Michel Temer is sending the federal troops. But they are doing everything very silently, and the government has not decreed state of siege and emergency, even though it should have. They sent nothing more than 200 federals and 1 helicopter to see whatâs going on. Which is a joke.
âThe governor of Vitoria in eastern Brazil called Monday for federal troops to come to the rescue after police went on strike, leaving the city at the mercy of criminals. The acting governor of Espirito Santo state, Cesar Colnago, asked President Michel Temer âto send the National Force and the army to safeguard the security of citizens,â a statement on the governorâs website said.Police, aided by relatives and sympathizers blockading police stations, have been protesting against unpaid salaries since early Saturday. With no patrols on the streets over the weekend, assaults and other crime have multiplied, Brazilian media reported.â According to the Daily Mail.Â
All we ask, is for you to try to spread this, show people how our media is hiding serious events, how thereâs murders and rape, how we need help and no one even mentions it.Â
Please, pray for us, talk about us, demand the mediaâs attention. People in EspĂrito Santo need help.Â
Under the cut thereâs graphic content, images of whatâs been going on. You can decide if you want to look or not, just know we never had a chance to choose.
