I just love her so much!
Happy 30th Birthday @taylorswift ! You have been an inspiration to so many and last night you used your platform to again carve the way for newer artists. This year has been challenging but you still showed fans an inside look at your life.
I have been a fan since I was 14 years old sitting on my floor singing along to your debut album trying to figure out how I can do my hair like yours. 😂 Now I’m 28 and learning the same lessons you are and appreciating the lessons your write about. You have been one of the very few consistent things in my life.
Thank you for creating music so true and honest to you. Those songs have become the soundtrack to my life. Happy Birthday Tay!

“I put my phone down and can’t find it”, a saga.
“Want me to call it?” “It’s on silent.”
A tragedy in three parts.
I found something!!!!
still don’t know if taylor meant that netflix had created a documentary about how her life has been over the last few years or if they’ve spent a few years making this doc but it’s ok at least we still have that as a surprise
I thought this same thing. What do you think?

Don’t know what else to do
Guys - It’s been announced recently that the American Music Awards will be honoring me with the Artist of the Decade Award at this year’s ceremony. I’ve been planning to perform a medley of my hits throughout the decade on the show. Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun have now said that I’m not allowed to perform my old songs on television because they claim that would be re-recording my music before I’m allowed to next year. Additionally - and this isn’t the way I had planned on telling you this news - Netflix has created a documentary about my life for the past few years. Scott and Scooter have declined the use of my older music or performance footage for this project, even though there is no mention of either of them or Big Machine Records anywhere in the film.
Scott Borchetta told my team that they’ll allow me to use my music only if I do these things: If I agree to not re-record copycat versions of my songs next year (which is something I’m both legally allowed to do and looking forward to) and also told my team that I need to stop talking about him and Scooter Braun.
I feel very strongly that sharing what is happening to me could change the awareness level for other artists and potentially help them avoid a similar fate. The message being sent to me is very clear. Basically, be a good little girl and shut up. Or you’ll be punished.
This is WRONG. Neither of these men had a hand in the writing of those songs. They did nothing to create the relationship I have with my fans. So this is where I’m asking for your help.
Please let Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun know how you feel about this. Scooter also manages several artists who I really believe care about other artists and their work. Please ask them for help with this - I’m hoping that maybe they can talk some sense into the men who are exercising tyrannical control over someone who just wants to play the music she wrote. I’m especially asking for help from The Carlyle Group, who put up money for the sale of my music to these two men.
I just want to be able to perform MY OWN music. That’s it. I’ve tried to work this out privately through my team but have not been able to resolve anything. Right now my performance at the AMA’s, the Netflix documentary and any other recorded events I am planning to play until November of 2020 are a question mark.
I love you guys and I thought you should know what’s been going on.

We will always be here for you!
OMG! The finest joy of his career? 🥰😍 yesss girl!
The first time I herd “Our Song” and “ Tim Magraw” on the radio I lost my sh*t, I mean as much as a 15 year old girl could. Little did I know I would go on the grow up with this girl and find myself healing and growing because of her. She has been my biggest style icon and has encouraged me to write music. When fearless came out I was just starting to be bullied and “Mean” helped me though most of that telling me to take the high road and never look down. Thank you @taylorswift for teaching me to speak up and stand up for myself.
Now, my idol is being controlled by two powerful and talentless people (it doesn’t really matter that they are men) who are trying to control the artist (of the decade, but that doesn’t matter) and the only ones who can really make a difference is others in their position. It’s our turn to stand up and show our support. This is not about Taylor so much as it is about artists rights to use/own the music they poured their tears into and the ability for an artist to document their career.
I ask that each Swiftie (or supporter of Taylor) would reach out to music producers, managers, record labels, songwriters, or anyone you feel could make a difference and ask them to speak out in support of artists having the right to use, preform, and own the artwork they created. Ask them to put the pressure on Big Machine to sell Taylor’s masters back to her at the cost he purchased it and allow her to use any recording of her past performances but at the very least ask them to provide the licensing that Taylor needs to do the documentary and the performances she has planned.
Taylor need us. She needs up to speak out in a respectful manner, that’s the only way we will get what we want. Death threats will destroy everything, including the swifties reputation. I beg you to please speak out and share this letter for other.
