Alarm - Short Animation

I found this yesterday and didn't get to finish watching so I just had to watch today. This short animation is really nice and I bet a LOT of people can relate to what the guy has to go through each and every morning. hahaha!

As for me, when i do need to wake up on alarm, I set it about 30 minutes before I really need to wake up. Several snoozes later and I'm already half awake. :)

What really got me into this short animations is when I saw "Paperman" from Walt Disnet/Pixar when I watched Wreck-It-Ralph. But I can't find it anywhere on the web so I can watch again!!

This is a perfect example of why I love this show.  It makes my heart feel warm and fuzzy.

For the most part of my life, I just wished to be someone special. I wished that I could sing, or dance or draw anime really well so that a lot of people would finally look my way and notice my existence. I wished that I could do something entertaining and fun to show. But then, I don't have any. I don't even have some storytelling prowess but thank goodness, I was given a hint of sense of humor, enough to join in some laughter.

But it's still not enough. Everything's still not enough. After all these years and the changes I've made in my life, I'm still that same wallflower who no one would dance with at the prom.

I guess nothing has changed and I wonder if it will ever happen.

Matchmaking

...is not my thing. I only get to that point where I refer one to another and think that they should probably hook up because they seem right for each other.

But that's it. I may help set up the first date, give their numbers to each other but that's it. I'm not really into follow-ups. Third-parties should not have anything to do with 2 people who already met or have each other's numbers.

Soooo... I may have used that upset tone with my girlfriend on the phone today because she's asking me to ask if my co-worker (WOMAN A) has already texted this girl (WOMAN B) who we're trying to match with her. She asked for the number last week so my girlfriend told WOMAN B (who's a friend of her co-worker) that we gave her number and so from then on she's kind of waiting. 

And I was like, "why did you tell her that we gave her number? of course she'll be waiting!"

She said of course we have to tell her so she'll not be surprised if someone suddenly texted her.

But in my mind, we already told WOMAN B that we're setting her up with WOMAN A so it'll not be so surprising.

I mean, come on! Of course she'll be waiting and of course it'll be a turn off if WOMAN A didn't text right away after getting the number, right?

I think it's just not our business anymore. They are in their 30s for chrissakes. They already know what they're doing.

How about we REALLY fix the problem? We owe it to ourselves.

"I see nothing wrong with beautifying our surroundings. We are not trying to keep the poor out of the picture," he said.

What's wrong is that they know they did a poor job running this country - that's what they're really covering up.

I hate our taxi drivers.

I mean come on. Saan ka nakakakita na kung kelan kailangan mo makasakay (madami bitbit, umuulan, umuulan at wala kang payong, malayo ang pupuntahan mong importante) tsaka ka pagsasamantalahan.

Mangongontrata.

Magpapadagdag.

Hindi ka isasakay. dahil sa kung ano anong dahilan. Ma-traffic. Malayo. May ibang ruta ang driver. 

Kelan ba hindi given fact ang traffic sa Maynila? May distance limitation na pala ang taxi ngayon? At higit sa lahat, may ruta na pala!

Oo nga, may mabait. Pero sa totoo lang, aminin na natin, majority mga salbahe.

Hindi lang sa kaso ng pagsakay. Pati sa pamasahe.

Taxi drivers na ang napakaraming paraan para bumilis ang metro. Kumukuha din ng sariling tip! Okay lang naman talaga to... pero magpasalamat naman. Hindi yung dedma nalang kukuha ng sariling tip. Hindi marunong magsukli. Hindi man lang mag sorry dahil walang sukli. Parang kasalanan pa ng pasahero talaga.

I believe walang magagawa ang pulisya o gobyerno dito. Wag na natin sila ituro kung ayaw nating ma-frustrate.

Simple lang naman to eh. Human values. Tutulong ka ba sa pasaherong walang masakyan o paiiralin ang kasakiman? Walang makakapigil sa mga taxi drivers na yan kundi sila rin.

O di kaya dapat may masilya-electrika na sa kanila para matakot. -- ganon talaga. kailangan matter of life and death bago gawin ang dapat. Case in point: Bawal tumawid. Nakamamatay.
