DARÍO RUELAS-GALINDO: xolo maridueña fc, 21-26, cis man (is likely amab nb, but is not in a place where he is open to discovering that atm), bisexual (primarily closeted, out to close friends & family), nhl hockey player --- goalie (primarily headcanon'ed as being on the rangers or montreal due to their goalie strongholds). + passionate, intelligent, team-oriented. - awkward, intense, impersonable.

was very sports oriented when he grew up? played rugby growing up, then obvi bc this is the us switched to playing american football, was all-american as a highschooler, then played football at a d1 school his freshman year of college? but had a TERRIBLE injury that genuinely ended his career... got a multiligament knee injury which kind of killed his prospects of playing in the nfl (which was a possibility at that time). was technically still on the team during recovery which was abt 24ish months for his specific injury (mlki... specifically an acl/pcl/plc injury)?

had enrolled in college for biology/like that premed track? with a minor in sports medicine ... so his academics kind of took a bigger role in his life, and found himself getting more interested in it bc that was just what was going on with him?

his parents get caught up in the "gael could have been famous! a star!" mindset a lot which bums him out, but they are ultimately proud of him?

he's a physical therapist in his doctoral residency! works at the same team as jue, but previously worked in the nhl (met dario), because the "could of been me" was too hard for working in the nfl, despite him naturally having an in with the talent scouts he worked with... but about 3 years into working with the nhl he did ultimately realize that his passion is working in football/with that sport moreso and was able to use prior connections to get in.

EUAN /YOO-ən/ MORTAINE (swann arlaud fc): 42-48, bisexual, true switch/vers, prince (second son), the "soft one", has a specifically assigned knight to attend to his safety (re: previous "madness" spells). + jovial, detail-oriented, personable. - forlorned, private, never alone. think: pine trees, the taste of dried tears, growing up too fast, the trauma of being a child soldier, the smell of clean linen, being too mature as a child but too childlike as an adult. (note for modern verse: remains a prince but is also known for being a prominent director. knight guard is replaced with a royal advisor that y travels alongs with him. child soldier plot modified to be no war but did still train. trauma comes from fighting falicitated by father. dx’d with ptsd & psychotic depression).

i'm going to officially have this blog on a partial/semi hiatus. i've kind of been on one already, but haven't actually said as much... the reasoning for this is i've continued to titrate onto a new med, and this latest bump is really impacting my mood (i have been struggling HEAVILY in the evenings w everything let alone my rpc stuff). and then this past week i started my temp job + schoolwork ... so i have a lot on my plate to do in the first place let alone this shitty mood. so my activity will be limited. if i am on, i'm likely going to cherry-pick easier threads or just chase whatever spur-of-the-moment muse i get! i hope you guys can understand!

like many times, he visited the house of verma; raúl's true armor sits neatly stacked by the entryway, out of the way and in no position for the night sky's rays to glitter across the iron. it is against regulation but so is everything that is being done regarding the current case at hand. raúl will be damned if he cannot use some of these informalities in his favor. "your uncle brought a set of correspondence --- forged, i know. it is conveniently ripped, but has enough treasonous intent upon its paper to signal my presence here tonight." the faltering of devika's stature, the one he knows she works so hard to keep composed, causes the hair on the back of his neck to stand at attention. his feet find themselves moving forward towards her, one hand reaching towards his back. he walks forward until their gap is miniscule, his voice, low in timbre, is soft as he speaks. "devi, i know not of an evil & trecherous duke verma... however, his daughter? she has her temper... ornery as all get out." lifts his foot to gentle tap his ankle against hers before returning it to its place. the hand behind its back comes out before him holding a piece of ripped parchment with writing atop it. "this is one of the letters. this does not match your father's stationery, no?"

ilham stares at her with an intensity they try to tamper but fails to. hasn't been one of the lucky ones, even in any casual relationships. the mixture of genderfucked standards and their propensity for femininity leads them towards people who they themself don't exactly find appealing. hasn't been able to be with anyone for awhile. it's why while their interest in nuala has been present for longer than they care to admit, they know better than to assume. or try. was happy to be her friend, her confidant, alongside their job of course. but this? this feels far too charged for them to suddenly step back. makes them hope that maybe, maybe, those lingering looks weren't always platonic. and when nuala finally moves her hand against them without guidance, whines a pretty sound that makes their head absolutely spin, illi has to take in a shaky breath to stop themself from losing balance. thorns and barbed ends of guilt regarding the situation she has found herself in start to latch into the far edges of her mind, threaten to sink their teeth into her thoughts, all about how she is a committed woman. how she has a boyfriend. that she has no business doing this right now. but then nuala looks up at her best friend, the one person in her life right now that has always told her the truth not because they "wanted her to hear it from them first" but because they thought she deserved it, looking at her with this fervor that makes her toes curl... and every single weed in her mind is pruned. there is no lingering thought of a man who couldn't think of a better rationale for cheating other than activating his girlfriend's insanely complex guilt complex. no, right now she is underneath someone so dauntily attractive nuala didn't realize she forgot how to breath until she's taking in a large gasp as arms are by her head. when ilham leans forward towards her, the musician takes this opportunity to wrap her legs around their hips; touch gentle and her ankles crossing over one another. eyes flutter shut the moment the words of intent are spoken... a soft smile curls the corners of her petals as she waits in anticipation. the moment they meet nuala's they're parting just enough to hug ilham's between themselves. nu's hands find the button's of her overall's and quietly fiddle with one side's then the other's. doesn't bring the bib down or try to pull her shirt up, just prepares. hopes that things continue the way the two's desires have stated.
