This is fucking disgusting, good god.The last thing I want life to be is predictable. FIVE YEARS, she worked on the SAME BASIC GOAL for FIVE YEARS. It’s an amazing accomplishment, great, woo-hoo for Akinosun. There is much to admire about this kind of greatness.
But my motivation to work hard in life comes from the dream that every day could be even more unexpected than the next. I’m looking to dive into chaos and use the vast breadth (rather than depth) of everything I’ve learned (plus a bit of improv) to wrestle it to the ground, not to wrap myself up in the long-term chains of committing to a single fucking skill.
Just imagine how much self-hatred it takes to want to drag an Olympian and college graduate, let alone to actually waste one's time writing such a self-righteous, passive-aggressive, pseudo-intellectual post.
Looks like they'll have to pull over more black drivers to give them an ice cream cone to make up for it. Jesus Christ.
