thiiis post isnt going in the tags however i do see the "byakuya needs to learn empathy" thing around a Lot which i mean, he is a haughty asshole so even if he can and sometimes does feel/conceptualize/wtv empathy, he could stand to do it a lot more. but why is this ALWAYS in relation to toko specifically. like... not. asahina? sakura? makoto? CHIHIRO?? why is this supposed Lack Of Empathy never ever talked about in regards to anyyy other character. why is it always the one thats stalking him. like yeah byakuya Could stand to be more empathetic towards people but why are all explorations of this just "oh toko, i didnt realize you had Trauma! you can keep getting off to every word i say in front of me, i wont protest 🥰" like there are so many more interesting explorations of this outside of like. victim blaming to enable hetslop

haha wow in order for byakuya to be perfect in her eyes she literally had to distort reality. shinobu/blue ink wanted him to be god but really this can be applied to any sort of position of superiority. wow. haha. wow insane wow the Weakness And Fragility of byakuya couldnt be exposed in her eyes. wow. thats crazy. wow. wow. i really cant think of any other situatiom where that could be applicable. i cant think of a single fucking Instance where byakuya is seen by Some People to have some kind of power. or dominion over something. in a sense where he is Above It much like a god would be and Doesnt Care about it. where his weaknesses and fragilities are glossed over. by people who are fixated on The Idea of Byakuya Togami As A Superior Being Who Truly Is Above It All And Not Weak. Or Fragile. no instance at all. no common view of byakuya's actions in, some sort of Game. perhaps. a game about Killing. surely no one falls victim to the world view that byakuya really is Above It All and he really is as simple and haugty and superior as he presents himself, up until an Agreed Upon Point where he Stops and That's It. He's Still Haughty. weakness maybe, but only intellectually so-- no fragility to be seen at all, only one moment of abberation but overall The Whole Of The Picture is that byakuya togami is a depraved superior only focused on winning and his own haughtiness in the killing game, cruel for cruelness's sake and nothing else, no weaknesses to be found and especially no fragility god. is my eye twitching i feel like my eye is twitching

smth i don't think is talked abt enough is that makoto is (most likely) older than byakuya. like. makoto's bday is february 5th, and byakuya is may 5th. byakuya being born first would make him almost a year older, rather than three months younger. which makes this line so much funnier 💀

also if byakuya *was* that much older than makoto, he'd definitely bring it up all the time. bcus he's petty
