There was this building I saw a while ago that was all-white and looked like a storage unit/workshop/entrance to top secret science facility and it even had a logo shaped suspiciously like the SCPF one but alas I never got a photo

Yesterday I was chilling in someone else's uniform jacket and was reminded of how much I loved being on-base as a kid with all the guys showing me their coolest gear and taking me on joyrides in the vehicles and today I was watching F1 Monaco and the track reminded me of how we'd speed through tunnels at night with all the windows down yelling to hear the echo back and I've just been so blisteringly boxers-fracture-angry at how all of that was ripped away just cus some court thought a kid would be 'better off' in a house of strangers with a cult leader instead of surrounded by honorable professional men and women who were more than happy to take care of a brat and would lay down their lives to protect innocence #civilogic

This morning I was trying to explain my super epic logo designs to someone but it forcibly involved explaining a lot of my writing and it was 5am and I had just been woken up from a dream where I was in a really scrappy fistfight so I think I just sounded insane or drunk

Logo: HELiX Technologies POLARIS

POLARIS is HELiX's instrumental base of operations, located at the northern, frozen area of the otherwise green planet.

POLARIS means "northern star". 1) "Star" meaning "shining example, most important, most crucial" and "northern" indicating direction. 2) "Northern star" meaning "guide, place to look to, light in the dark" as it is the central command and also fallback area, being heavily fortified and secret, as well as the location being hazardous to traverse.

The O of POLARIS is stylized. 1) It resembles a shooting star, recalling the meaning of a "guide" or "light in the dark". 2) It resembles a shooting star, as HELiX's projects were extremely ambitious and a "wish" that succeeded. 3) It resembles an explosion, like the "explosive hazard" symbol, recalling the dangerous equipment and experiments housed inside. 4) It resembles an explosion like what they metaphorically did to DEADRINGER's brain. 5) It resembles the symbol used to represent DEADRINGER, recalling the meaning of a "shining example" and "most important" technology they have created. 6) It resembles helicopter blades, recalling the hazardous conditions and how, often, the only access to the base is to be dropped in via helicopter.

I'm not really a landscape artist... as can be told from my pure white backgrounds. But I did my best.

Asked a medic too many questions about defibrillation and was given the largest book I have ever seen in my life to "do some reading".

Also I realized I've been using the pejorative 'Whacker' wrong this entire time and now I have to rename a character. :( I thought it was, like, slightly more insulting than 'Jockey' (which is not really a pejorative) and a lot less insulting than 'Lucas' so it was the perfect sweet spot. But it's not related at all.

Fun fact: 5.11 EMS trousers have 19 pockets and if you manage to fill every single one of them AND a duty belt then you officially achieve Whacker Status. (jackets typically have ~4)

But altogether the ACU/OCP only has 16 (8 trousers + 8 jacket) pockets and idk how you'd manage to achieve Whacker Status in the military [kicks a rock]

Deadringer is a McLaren or Verstappen's RedBull car, Forby is a Ford Mustang, Ferrari is a Ferrari, Whacker is a Toyota, Bravo is a Mercedes-Benz, Stripes is the second RedBull car (sorry), Deadringer's creator is a Porsche, the mix of open wheel and sports car is irrelevant

McLaren - Expensive as hell, very rare to see Vertappen's RedBull car - Given special privileges to be custom made at the expense of the other driver. Also, you want to hate it because it's unfair how scary good it is, but can't. Ford Mustang - Strong looking horsie car + ambulance brand Ferrari - Sleek looking horsie car Toyota - Beginner-friendly and hard to mess up with but can't be pushed to the extent of the others Mercedes - Cocky, thinks they own the road, fights with own teammates too much but it's entertaining so you cheer 'em on Second RedBull car - Not the favorite, and everyone knows, driving a configuration built for another person. Plays dirty to Ferrari, who wins anyways Porsche - Engine over back wheels gives greater mechanical grip and pivoting, takes tighter turns, highly visible/easy to tell apart

Got all that? There's gonna be a test later so make sure to take notes

Little doodle for fun while I work on bigger and better things. Watching F1 Canada 2026 made me go "hmm fast cars and Ferrari and winning and fancy clothes all go together so why not"

Man this took forever but it turned out good so I'm happy with it

I showed the lineart to someone and he said: "I've noticed your humanoid figures have very emphasized lower middle thirds" and at my obvious confusion translated: "You really dig long legs." It's true. I do really dig long legs. Muscular... svelte... looooooong legs...

Thanks to the civil engineer who approved a design for DR's legs that makes better sense with a hydraulic system. I owe you one!

Any other medics feel like crawling into a ditch and dying of shame when they get environmental injuries (ex. heat exhaustion) or drink unsafe water or don't carry epi despite having an anaphylactic allergy or get infected wounds from self-applied dressings because they know better and know they know better but do it anyways because it's so easy to take care of other people but not themselves because the rules are different somehow or is that just me

A dream I had the other day

It's been so long since I've drawn gore. At least 4 months? I guess it left my mind because blood and guts became part of my work so it was typical and also not something I wanted to draw for fun xD

Now I'm living/working on a farm while I wait for reciprocity paperwork. (Always the damn paperwork...) So it's a liiiiittle more exciting to draw!

Anyways DON'T DO THIS YOU'LL DIE etc... he got stabbed and decided to deal with it himself, but if it was you, you should go to the ER (preferrably in an ambulance)
