im coming back to this account specifically to complain about how shitty the crystallize and shields mechanics are in genshin cuz what do you mean i have to specifically build an entire other character thats not even good for shielding for shields cuz shes the only chara i have that can make shields cuz if i dont do it my entire team gets wiped from stunlock and i cant fucking do anything about it except punch my walls cuz there genuinely is no way i can keep going like this all the fun is gone i wanna literally go downstairs grab a knife and slit my throat HOYOVERSE IF YOURE LISTENING FIX YOUR FUCKING SHIELD MECHANIC SO IT ACTUALLY WORKS. a while ago, one of my mutuals was considering quitting writing. her fics weren’t doing as well, and the algorithm wasn’t favoring her writing like it used to.

so as a collective 10-15 writers, we all reblogged her fic once each. that alone put her writing at the top of the tag.

it makes a difference. way more than you think. it doesn’t matter if people see it because of you, it still gets promoted by the algorithm.
