It's fun when the robot character in the sci-fi show gets cut in half because nobody working on this type of media knows anything about robotics and you never know what you're going to find inside. Green printed circuit boards? Meat and viscera, but like in a weird colour? Just a shitload of goo?

yeah :') needless to say i do like grace begging rocky for literally anything, but begging to be hurt is a different and special kind of begging. and it's so fun when aspects of their sex life ends up accidentally hitting on areas of very real trauma for them. like grace wanting rocky to hold him down and do a science experiment roleplay on him except whoops that keeps making him think about that time he got held down and forcibly sedated and then put in a coma for a suicide mission. or rocky genuinely enjoying having grace helpless and squirming and maybe causing him a little bit of pain, except for all the ways that reminds him of how grace nearly died, just like rocky's crew died, and they're so close to one thing going wrong and then rocky will be alone again and it'll be all his fault. like i think rocky is so twisted up over the fact that grace is so fragile and vulnerable and weak (hot!) but also oh fuck, he's so fragile and vulnerable and weak, and if rocky so much as steps wrong he could collapse grace's ribcage on top of several vital organs. i think rocky probably thinks about that a lot.
