#he just came strolling up the path.#we’d been seeing plenty of cassowary shit around so we figured they probably use the paths a lot to get around and we’d be likely to see one #then he just. showed up.#and we were like okay i guess we stand off to the side so he’s got a clear way past #and try to look predictable and non-threatening. let him do his thing.#which he did.#wasn’t a huge fan of our presence but wasn’t especially bothered either.#mostly ignored us and continued doing whatever he would have been doing anyway.#A+ wild animal interaction. would be glanced at and then politely disregarded by a cassowary again any day.
