A New World, A New Corelyn

So while this blog stands as an archive to all that I’ve done with Lyn on WoW, I have more or less resolved that, at this point, I am not ever going back to WoW. Enough memories have been sullied by the awful state that it’s in anymore, as well as the abhorrent decisions ActiBlizz as a company has made of late.

As such, I have remade Corelyn on FFXIV and, so far, I’ll be entirely honest: I’m in love with the character. She’s everything I ever wanted for Lyn in WoW and more. With the new gear that’s been released with 5.1 in Shadowbringers, I’m feeling happier than ever with her as a character; I feel like I have my baby back again. I’ve loved getting to RP her so far, and I’ve only gotten started...! :>

For those who play FF, find me on Balmung on the Crystal datacentre! Her new name there is Corelyn Voileil. I’m currently working on a Carrd for her, as well!

This blog will also have a name change and facelift, so please don’t be alarmed!

Corelyn had been watching the courtyard for some time from atop the ramparts of Tyrellian Manor. She hadn’t felt the need to cloak herself, as she so often did, given she really had no reason to in the first place. She had a lot to think about following the burning of Teldrassil and her future, here, should she go through with what she was planning... and attempted, to no success at Darkshore.

Her reverie was interrupted, however, as a tapping caught her attention. She reflexively wanted to look to the left, but nothing was detected in her proximity there. There was, however, something to her right. Instead of looking either way, resisting either urge, she sighed.

“Yes?” came her mildly-annoyed tone, her gaze fixed on the courtyard below.

They had been friends for some time, bonding over a common friendship with Aodan, though the man who was a brother to Corelyn was a lover to Caelonis for some time. Neigher knew where he had gone to, and it had begun simply as Cael’s wish to commiserate over the missing spy. Several shots later and it had devolved into nonsense.She stared at her first. It was untouched.“Have you not touched your drink yet?” the inebriated man asked with a sly smirk.“No,” Corelyn said, blunt and honest, “I came to talk, not to drink. If you want it, it is yours.” She slid the shot to Cael.
