🦌 Whenever you need a new pair of shoes, Plmk will immediately be on it already and of course he’s gonna buy shoes with the best support 🦌
🦌 Plmk is the type of guy to send you tik toks about reducing flat feet pain and he’ll send you a message saying “ we’re gonna try that.” He says we because in his mind your in it together, any pain you are in he also feels and he wants to make it feel better 🦌

Would Pater still support physical punishment or even enforce it if he wasn't working under Ketil? Did Pater only suggest physical punishment on Sture and Thora because he needed to maintain the order of the farm, feared pushback from Ketil and the rest, or because he wanted to? This is open-ended, so there's no definite answer.
We don't know a lot about Pater before he became a slave or when he was one. All we know is that Pater has this emotional loyalty debt to Ketil and his family (despite really not owing them that much in retrospect but it's whatever). Is that debt only to Ketil or to the rest of his slaves? Pater clearly cares for Thorfinn, Einar, and Arnheid, so why would he enforce the same punishment that killed Arnheid and her foetus? i might be thinking too hard about this from a modern lens, but it still helps to analyse Pater's character because I love him.

🐻 Bjorn is a huge activist for the animal community and donates his profits to animal shelters and charities 🐻
🐻 Askeladd helped Bjorn get a small magazine deal to talk about his animal activism 🐻

Snake and Olmar
🐍 Snake works for a modeling agency and manages all types of models. Olmar is a fashion designer that works for snake and credits the designs he wants 🦌

🏹Hild is an engineer who mainly works in making crossbows and bows. She loves the process of making bows and it comes very easily for her 🏹
🏹 She was inspired by her father’s engineering and eventually became even better than him. She worked for her father for a while before going to school 🏹
🏹 After school she was able to start working on her own, she mainly works on commissions that are harder and more complicated for other engineers 🏹
🏹 Hild and Gudrid went to school at the same time and became friends, Hild has gone to Vinland with Thorfinn to see how different the engineering is there 🏹

🦌Plmks work will always be motivated by his community and his peoples past. So Plmk is a paleontologist who is working to recover fossils of his peoples history 🦌
🦌 Plmk lives in Vinland and met Thorfinn, Gudrid and Hild and showed them around Vinland. From all the engineering, the oceans and the best photo spots 🦌
🦌 Plmk wants to keep his peoples history alive, he loves sharing with others about his people, so you know he has a field day when the three of them showed up 🦌

The sounds of faint feline noises could be heard at the front door. Askeladd wondered if that was Thorfinn taking a nap again or his ears going daft.
Walking to the front door, Askeladd opened it to be hit with a laser beam of cuteness wrapped up in a basket decorated with a large, pink bow. Six adorable kittens were purring! Each kitten had a distinct color: one was brown, another was black, 2 of them had alternating orange and white colors, the shyest one had black and white fur, and one cat had a unsettling similarity.
The neighborhood seemed too quiet for someone to have dropped the furballs and ran. Askeladd just shrugged it off and brought them to the living room table.
"Now who could've gifted me these adorable little angels?" Askeladd said, scratching one of the kitten's chin.
"Hey Björn, come here. Someone left these kittens for us at our doorstep."
Björn left the kitchen to see the commotion of noises. What he didn't expect was his own reaction.
The brown kitten jumped on his apron and clawed its way to Björn's face. rubbing its paw on his face.
"EHEHAHAA!!" Björn belly laughed at the paw's sensation. "I don't know where the hell these kittens came from, but I'm keeping this one. I love this brown furball!" Askeladd gave a slight chuckle. He adored seeing Björn's softer, vulnerable side.
Askeladd gestured all the kittens to rest on him. Each one came rushing to be first, but that familiar kitten violently lunged at Askeladd and sunk its claws into his face. Björn winced a bit at the force.
"Well doesn't this feel familiar." Askeladd said with a grimace. Whoever this mysterious gifter was definitely made this fur-demon by design. "I'll get some ointment for this later. Lemme call Thorfinn down to see these kittens."
Clearing his throat and checking his pitch, Askeladd sung:
"Oh Thorfiiiinnnnnnn, I got a cute surprise for youuuuuuu :3"
SLAM "WHAT?!?!"
Askeladd rolled his eyes and scoffed. He could hear Thorfinn's booming footsteps and expect a response equally destructive.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU CALL ME FOR RIGHT AS I WAS ABOUT TO NAP?!?!?!"
Yep, right on cue.
"Thorfinnnn, look at these fur babies! :3 I don't know who gave them to us, but this one looks just like you!" Askeladd gave the grumpy kitty to Thorfinn, whose face was full of cringe.
Holding the kitten in his hands, Thorfinn's breath slowly eased. That fixed, unmoving scowl turned into suspicious curiosity.
"WHAT THE HELL?? WHY AM I SO RELAXED?! IS THIS ASKELADD'S TRICK TO GET ME TO LOSE IN ANOTHER CARD DUEL??" Thorfinn thought.
As he was pondering Askeladd's next trick, the kitten mirrored Thorfinn's disposition.
"Wait a minute, this cat is copying me?! I need to test this out." Thorfinn thought to himself.
Thorfinn sat down on the couch alongside the kitten. When Thorfinn made a scowl, the kitten did the same. If Thorfinn made a gesture like crossing his arms, the furball copied him almost perfectly. To really see if what he thought was true, Thorfinn raised his fists as if he were holding daggers. The kitten stood on its hind legs and got into a defensive position.
"No fucking way." Björn said incredulously.
"AHAHAHHAAAA!!!" Askeladd laughed so hard he collapsed on the floor. He knew that kitten and Thorfinn were similar, but that reaction swept him off his feet.
"OK I GET IT BALDY JEEZ!!" God Thorfinn hated when Askeladd had a correct prediction about him. He guessed that it was a weird, messed up way of showing that he, what, cared??
"Eheheheeee. Oh, Björn, help me up." Askeladd hadn't laughed that hard in ages. His body still felt jumpy when Björn lifted him up.
"So, Thorfinn, do you want to keep these kittens? I'll be the middle for for you and Askeladd on whatever the majority vote is." Björn said, giving a subtle wink at Askeladd who pretended not to see.
Thorfinn's never had to make a decision like this before. Sure, these furballs are unpredictable, messy, hairy, temperamental, prickly, and adorable, but why not take the risk? It's the first time that Thorfinn ever could find anyone, much less a cat, to relate to. A direct reflection of him. All the pain, struggle, fea-

The kitten and Thorfinn both voted yes without even thinking. Thorfinn stood statuesque with shell-shocked eyes, Askeladd was incredulous, Björn felt like he was watching a reality-TV show, and the house became pin-drop silent.
"W-w-well," Askeladd said trying to shift the mood "I vote yes! Björn, what do you say?" He gave him that wink back with a slight smirk.
"The majority vote said yes, so I will do the same. Looks like we have six new furry members in our family!" Björn smiled radiantly.
Askeladd slapped his knees and lifted himself up to pat Thorfinn on the back. "Looks like you won't be the only feral kitten in this house anymore."
Family. That's the first time Björn ever said that word to describe all of them. They've really come a long way since they first met all those years ago. Despite that, Thorfinn's rigid shock got distrupted the moment he felt Askeladd's touch.
"Get your hands off of me!" Thorfinn snapped. Strange. That was much calmer than before. Interesting how one kitten can do that.
