Ding dong.
Korra stepped back from the entrance of the Sato Estate after ringing the doorbell.
Mako, Bolin, Asami, and her had all agreed to meet at Asami’s house (more like mansion) for a hangout that Saturday. They had just become fast friends that prior week after Mako introduced Asami to Bolin and Korra.
The door suddenly opened and a butler ushered Korra in.
“Good afternoon Avatar Korra, how do you do?” He asked politely, shaking her hand.
“Uh, I do good? Thank you.” Korra awkwardly replied, the training compound didn’t focus too much on social situations. She would just have to wing it.
“Come right this way, Masters Bolin and Mako, and Lady Asami are all in the game room awaiting your arrival.” The butler began walking, Korra followed.
It had felt like ages, when in reality it had only been five minutes, until they finally reached the game room. Just as promised, Korra’s three new friends were all sitting on a couch in the middle of the -very large- room, talking with each other. Their heads perked up at the door opening and they immediately got up to rush over and greet Korra.
“Korra! You made it! Thank you George, we will take it from here.” Asami smiled at the butler, he nodded and left; closing the door behind him.
“Heh, hi guys. It’s nice to see you all too.” Korra looked around the room, noting the multitude of board games, card games, and the ping pong and pool tables. “So, what will we do first? Youve got, um, quite the selection.” She asked.
“Do you guys have any favorites? I’m sure I have it here somewhere.” Asami answered, looking at the three of them.
“I like poker.” Mako stated, putting his hands in his pockets.
“Poker? Isn’t that for people 21 and up?” Asami raised an eyebrow.
“Shady Shin taught us! It’s so much fun; until they beat you up and steal your money but that’s all part of the game, right?” Bolin smiled.
“Uh, no actually.” Asami corrected, Bolin looked confused for a moment before moving on.
“Well I like good ol’ truth or dare.”
“What’s that?” Korra asked.
The three of her friends exchanged glances before Mako spoke up.
“You don’t know what truth or dare is? How? It’s like, the most basic game ever”
“The compound didn’t focus much on games.” Korra said sheepishly.
“Well it’s easy! We can teach you!” Bolin replied enthusiastically.
“Alright, what are the rules?”
“Wait.” Asami piped in. “Are we playing ‘truth or dare’ or ‘truth, or dare’?” All she got were blank stares so she continued. “Ok so, ‘truth or dare’ is when you pick between truth and dare, and ‘truth, or dare’, with a comma mind you, is when you have to do truth and if you don’t, then you do a dare.”
Mako and Bolin “ohh”-ed, Korra still looked lost as ever.
“Let’s do the second one!” Bolin said happily.
“Alright, well-“ Asami turned to Korra. “-Truth, or dare, is when you ask someone a question and they have to answer. If they don’t want to then they have to do a dare, which is a task. Like ‘I dare you to jump up and down three times’, that sort of thing.”
“I get it now, let’s play!”
The Mako, Bolin, and Korra sat on the couch while Asami grabbed a spinner from a random game and set it on the table. It had four colors; red, blue, yellow, and green.
“I call dibs on red.” Asami called out as she sat down.
“I want blue!” “I want green!” Korra and Bolin said simultaneously, they looked at eachother and laughed.
“Guess that means I’m yellow.” Mako sat up, ready to play.
“I’ll spin first. Whoever it lands on, I’ll ask you the question. We’ll go me, Korra, Mako, then Bolin.” Asami span the spinner and it landed on Bolin.
“Let’s see here.. why is green your favorite color?” Asami asked.
“Who says it is?”
“Your entire outfit is green, Bolin.”
“Oh, yeah, right. Heh, um, cause I’m an earthbender?” Bolin guessed.
“Let’s just go with that.” Asami sighed. “Ok Korra your turn to spin.”
Korra span the spinner and it landed on Asami.
“Hm, um, girl questions girl questions… aha! When did you start your monthly cycle?” Korra asked.
The others were in shock. Asami quickly recovered and replied with; “Korra that’s not something you ask people.”
“Really? My teachers asked me that all the time, kept a whole record and everything.”
“This compound sounds like a real piece of work.” Asami raised an eyebrow once again.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable. I’m not into a lot of girly things so I didn’t know what else we had in common.” Korra apologized sincerely.
“It’s alright you didn’t know, instead of thst question I’ll do a dare.”
“Okay. Hm, I dare you to… do a handstand!”
Asami smiled and nodded before getting up, doing a handstand, and even walking on her hands a few feet before stopping and sitting back down. The others were impressed at that.
“Wow I can’t even do that, nor can Mako!” Bolin said in astonishment.
“Who says I can’t do a handstand?”
“Well then that’s your dare if it lands on you during my turn.”
Mako playfully rolled his eyes. They continued the game for hours, learning more and more about each other and growing in their friendship. Bolin landed on Korra and he thought for a moment before playfully asking his question.
“Where’s your most ticklish tickle spot?” He was definitely scheming for later, to his dismay, Korra replied with; “I’m not ticklish.”
“Huh, really?” Bolin said.
“Yeah, or at least I doubt I am. I haven’t been tickled since before I left for the compound, which was at around five years old. I’m seventeen now.”
“Can we find out if you are? Pleaseeee?” Bolin whipped out his puppiest puppy dog eyes and batted his eyelashes.
“Um, well, I guess.” Korra replied, a bit unsure about this. “Though don’t be disappointed when I’m not. I’m the Avatar, the Avatar is supposed to be a powerful beacon of hope; not some ticklish.. thing.” She gestured with her hand.
Bolin nodded and wiggled his fingers at her, eliciting no reaction whatsoever. He was a big discouraged by this but continued on. Mako and Asami watched on as he poked her side, still nothing.
“I told you I wasn’t ticklISH!” Korra yelped and whirled around, looking at Asami who had just tickled her neck.
“What was that?!”
“That, was being ticklish, Korra.” Asami smirked evilly.
Korra looked between Bolin and Asami, knowing what came next, though, she still wasn’t ready for it.
Asami grabbed Korra’s arms and pulled them up so Bolin could access her armpits. Any walls Korra may have put up immediately broke down as she laughed.
“Spihihirits thihis is sohoho bad!” Korra laughed out, trying to bring her arms down but Asami was surprisingly strong.
“Get her ribs Bolin!” Asami called out, and Bolin followed.
“Tickle tickle!” Bolin teased as he scribbled up and down her ribs.
Korra couldn’t help but blush the tiniest bit, which was caught by her attackers.
“Aww is the great powerful Avatar blushing over some tickles?” Asami teased, her voice faux sweet like vegan honey.
“Shuhuhut up!” Korra giggled while still trying to get free.
Mako just watched on, amused by the scene. He wouldve joined in but didn’t want to overwhelm Korra with too much tickling her first time.
“Mahako! Hehehelp!”
“I’m good, thanks. I’ll just sit here and enjoy the show.” He leaned back on the couch, smirking.
“Fuhuhuck yohohu ahahall!”
“Tsk tsk tsk, you’re in no position to say that.” Bolin switched from her ribs to her stomach, causing her to squeal.
“EEEEK! Stahahap stahahap!” She cried out, immediately Bolin stopped tickling and Asami let go.
Korra hugged herself as she caught her breath, still giggling a little.
“Spirits, I had no idea about.. any of that.” She couldn’t help but smile.
Once Korra regained her bearings, she happily spoke.
“That was fun! Can you go it again?”
The others were silent then laughed as a group. Korra was bamboozled.
“What? Is it cause I forgot to say please?”
“No no, um, we’re just not used to a young adult asking for tickles. Let alone the Avatar.” Asami started.
“But I think we can do that for ya.” Bolin finished, getting ready to attack.
Korra got up from the couch and backed up a few steps, the look on her face made it clear she wasn’t planning to make this easy.
“Get her!” Bolin cried out and Mako and Asami joined him as they tried to corner Korra.
Korra was a skilled acrobat and bender though, trained since she was five. Dodging them was like dodging children!
“Hah! With all your pro-bending and self defense classes I thought you’d be better than this!” Korra taunted, running around the room and easily jumping over any tackles made towards her.
It wasn’t too long before she was finally caught by Mako, who grabbed her ankle as she flipped by him, and wrestled her onto the ground.
“Gotcha! Hurry guys before she gets up!”
Asami and Bolin rushed over and soon enough, Mako was holding her hands above her head, Asami was straddling her thighs, and Bolin was at her feet. She squirmed and fought but it was no use, they got her; and they wasted no time diving into their attack.
Mako held her hands with one of his and used the other to claw at her armpit, Asami spidered her nails up and down her sides, and Bolin scribbled at her socked feet. Korra was a mess instantly, laughing and throwing her head about as that’s all she could do.
“WAHAHAIT WAHAHAIT!” She cried out.
Asami signaled for the boys to stop.
“Yes, Korra?” She asked, just teasing.
Korra was a bit disappointed that they had stopped, but she wasn’t going to let them know that.
“I- um.” She stammered, unsure of what to say as she looked up at Asami’s smirking face.
“Did you change your mind?”
“Well, no…”
“So you want us to continue?”
Korra just glared at Asami, blushing a little again.
“We aren’t going to continue until you ask us to.” Asami crossed her arms.
“What! No way!” That would wound Korra’s pride to no end.
“Okay then, your choice..” Asami began to get up.
“Wait! Okay! Um, please continue..” Korra mumbled.
“Continue what? And speak up please.”
“Continue to tickle me.”Korra said louder.
“Hm, alright then.” Asami and the boys started back up their attack, leaving Korra a wiggling hysterical mess.
“What was that you said about not being ticklish?” Mako teased, he wasn’t much of a teaser but he wanted in on the fun.
“SHUHUHUT UP!”
“Again, that’s no way to talk to someone in your position!” Asami playfully scolded. “Someone needs to learn her manners.”
Korra just shook her head and laughed, accepting her fate and laying there. Asami pulled Korra’s shirt up a bit and tickled her stomach a little before leaning down and blowing a raspberry right above her belly button.
Korra. Went. CRAZY.
She cackled while trying to break free one final time.
“WHAHAHAT THE FUHUHUCK?!” She practically screamed.
Her friends let up at that point, letting her go and getting off of her. She rolled into a fetal position, still giggling from the after-tingles.
“Ohoho sphihirits.” She giggled out.
Her friends just laughed as they sat around her, waiting for her to calm down. Bolin wanted to get one final tease in before really stopping.
“Someone liked that, huh?” The others chuckled.
Korra wasn’t embarrassed before, but for some reason, she was now. She felt small, but in a nice way? She knew she was safe with her crew (‘or KREW’ she thought) and didn’t fear being vulnerable with them; to an extent at least.
After a few minutes she sat up, her hair was a mess and her face was flushed, but she was happy.
“Yeah, um, I mean. I did have fun. Yes.” She shyly stammered. “Could we do it again sometime?” She asked.
“We’re happy to!” Bolin grabbed everyone into a group hug and they all laughed in joy.
~~~~~~~~
Hours later, everyone was gone. Asami was alone in her room, thinking back to how bravely Korra just asked for tickles. She couldn’t help but feel a little jealous at her lack of shame. Maybe she could become more comfortable with her new friends and work up the courage to ask them for tickles too.
Pairing: Lee!Ron and Ler!Kim
Word count: 1068
Kim and Ron, Ron and Kim… they were the perfect couple.
Ron was as charming as can be and very respectful of his girlfriend while Kim was affectionate and caring. Everyone at Middleton High had envied them and now they were off to college, facing adulthood; together.
“Kim, are you paying attention?”
Kim quickly snapped out of her thoughts as her professor called her out on her daydreaming.
“Uhm- yes Mr. Poe.” Kim quickly replied, sitting up.
Mr. Poe nodded and continued on with his literature lecture. Kim just couldn’t help but swoon over her boyfriend every now and then, I mean- who’s so lucky that their best friend becomes their boyfriend?
Class soon finished and Kim hurried over to the boy’s dormitory, more specifically, Ron’s dorm. They both had no classes for the rest of the day and she was definitely taking advantage of that.
Kim took out her phone to text she was on her way, Ron responded with an “okay” emoji. Kim thought it was a bit dry for him, but nothing to fret over. Maybe he was just finishing up some homework.
Kim entered the building and went into the elevator, taking it up to Ron’s floor. As she waited, she checked her hair in the mirror and smiled. Finally the doors opened and she made her way to his dorm. She went to knock but realized the door had already been opened. Maybe for her, but it was much more likely Ron had just forgotten to lock it. Again.
Kim sighed playfully and went inside. The room was a bit of a mess but that was usual for Ron. Rufus was asleep on the windowsill, his favorite spot to nap, and Ron was with his back facing the wall, earbuds in, watching something on his phone intensely. He quickly put his phone down, facing down, onto the nightstand and got up.
“Hey KP! You got here quicker than usual.” Ron commented, Kim was immediately suspicious.
“I’ll grab us some water.” Ron left the room to go to the common area, where the kitchen was.
Kim glanced at his phone. She reached for it but pulled back, ‘I shouldn’t.’ She thought. She slowly reached out again, this time picking up the device, ‘But we do have an open phone policy..’. She peeked at the video, bracing for the worst, just to see.. a girl tickling a guy?
“What?”
Kim was absolutely confused. This is what Ron had been watching? Why? Did he.. want this?
Kim knew she should’ve sat him down for a proper conversation, but she couldn’t help the Cheshire grin that spread across her face. She carefully put the phone back down where it was, just in time too, as Ron had returned with their waters. She didn’t miss the quick glance Ron gave his phone before returning his attention to her.
“Got us those waters! Sorry if it tastes weird, I heard someone put a spell on the pipes to turn them into gold or something. Anyways, here ya go.” He handed her the cup, which she put down.
“Thanks but I think I’ll pass on the weird water.” She said with a smile, sitting on Ron’s bed.
“Yknow you really learn to love the metallic taste. Gives you that iron vitamin.” Ron drank from his cup and set it down as well.
“I don’t think you can get iron from gold, Ron.”
“It was a good try anyways, those tablets give me a tummy ache.” Ron rubbed her stomach for emphasis.
‘Is this an opportunity to tease him? Or not? Ugh I’m such an idiot I can’t even figure out how to.. how to.. what am I even doing? What is this called? Should I just go for it?’ Kim thought to herself. Her spacing out was incredibly obvious to her boyfriend, who booped her nose to get her attention back.
“Hey, earth to Kim, you good?” Ron asked, genuinely a bit concerned.
Kim looked at him. ‘I should DEFINITELY just go for it!’ And with that she launched her attack.
Kim began to playfully wrestle with Ron, who was caught off guard, but not surprised. This was pretty normal between them both for training purposes and just for fun, so Ron wrestled back.
“Im definitely winning this time KP!” And he was. Ron was a young man, having the strength of such was a tally against Kim, but she had her secret weapon. She poked his side and he went down with a squeak.
“Eek! What the- that’s cheating!” Ron claimed as Kim straddled him, winning the wrestling match.
“Is it though? Now time for my prize! But maybe youd enjoy it more, hm?” Kim wiggled her fingers and Ron instantly knew.
“You- you looked at my phone! Traitor!”
“For the benefit of us both sweetie.”
Kim dug her fingers into Ron’s sides, earning her instant laughter. She scribbled up and down them as Ron tried to pry her hands away.
“Kihihim!”
“That’s my name, don’t wear it out!”
She continued for a moment before switching to tickling and poking his ribs, which only made him laugh more. Ron kicked at the bed and pushed at Kim’s shoulders but alas, it was futile. He was done for.
“Awh I thought you liked this? And who knew you were so ticklish, I sure didn’t!” Kim teased, grinning at the adorable sight that was her boyfriend.
Ron could only blush as he laughed, his fighting getting weaker. Kim lifted his shirt enough to blow a huge raspberry right above his belly button. Ron shrieked and cackled.
“AAAAHAHA KIM STAHAHAP PLEHEHEASE!” Ron begged while hitting the bed with his fist.
Kim relented and allowed Ron to finally catch his breath. She giggled at the view and gave him a peck on the cheek.
“You’re adorable, you dork.”
“Adorkable?” Ron replied after catching his breath.
“If the shoe fits.” She got off him and laid down beside him for some much deserved cuddle time.
“We do need to have a conversation about this you know.” Kim said as she snuggled into her position as the little spoon.
“Yeah but for now let’s just take a nap, like Rufus.” Ron yawned, the tickling had worn him out.
“Rufus left actually, we woke him up.” Kim replied, but Ron had already fallen asleep. She happily closed her eyes too, grateful for such a wonderful boyfriend.
Summary: After a long Summer break without Wednesday, Enid returns to Nevermore and appears to be more needy to her roommate. Wednesday finds out way after finding a story on Enid’s phone.
Word Count: 4603.
Warning: SFW Tickle Fic, a whole lot of Yuri bitches be gay,
•••••••••••••••••
Being the social butterfly of Nevermore, Enid thought that summer vacation might just be the death of her. Sure, she could still talk with and meet with most of her friends, but there was a certain, darker stained part of her that couldn't be filled. Ajax's gossip sessions over the phone and going out to eat with Yoko only gave her a fraction of the bliss she felt being cooped up in that tense, raw dorm room with Wednesday Addams. She didn't sleep the first night back home, or the night after that; the never-ending noise coming from her brothers was only partly the reason why. Enid longed to hear dramatic violin pieces from the balcony paired with the chilly air that sprawled into her room from the open door, she wanted to be annoyed at the incessant tapping at a typewriter, she wanted to feel the chilling embrace of Wednesday's arms wrapped around her skin at least once more.
But, Wednesday had secluded herself to the Addams Manor for summer vacation, something about trying to discover the identity of someone who wanted her dead. Enid never thought that she'd be bitter about being left out of something like that. She had tried texting Wednesday many times, but she learnt in the first few days that her roommate was an incredibly dry texter. The fact that she signed each of her messages never grew old to Enid though, but trying decipher the seemingly random strings of emojis she used was a text that not up to her expertise.
Being without Wednesday for months was torture. It was almost funny considering she didn't even know that the goth existed until a couple weeks prior, now she couldn't imagine her life without her. Now, the only way she could get to sleep was laying on her side and brushing her hand against her arm, pretending it was Wednesday's touch. Now, she was getting herself ready on a brisk, painful September morning, triple checking her hair, makeup and uniform just to make sure she'd be perfect upon seeing her crush again. Now, she got herself to Nevermore before the Sun even came up, waiting in her untouched dorm room, devoid of light or closeness.
The door opened with a gentle creaking, Enid’s heart spiked with excitement she never once felt before. There was a clicking of heavy boots as Wednesday made her way into the room, looking exactly as Enid remembered her. The werewolf herself had changed a little, sporting a shorter haircut with more prominent hair dye. Passionate light shone through Enid’s eyes as she skidded across the floor to her roommate, who remained stagnant other than a light expression of surprise.
“Howdy Wednesday!” Enid cried out joyfully, touching Wednesday’s wrist to which she did not recoil. Instead, she observed Enid, noting down all the little changes in her mind, as well as how it only took her a few seconds to get close to her.
“Enid. You’re here earlier than normal.” Wednesday commented, a familiar sense of annoyance and relief filling her. She too had missed her roommate and all of her aggravating habits, as much as she would hate to admit it, she found a certain comfort in Enid. Someone who was as odd as her yet was so, so different, but still found a way to like Wednesday either way. It was illogical to her first, causing her to write off Enid as a nonsensical, idiotic lapdog. She still found some truth in that, but she thought it to be more admirable.
Enid remained unfazed by Wednesday’s lack of emotion, that bright, wide smile never leaving her face. It felt natural. “I cannot believe it has been so long, I have so much to talk about, so much to ask-did you ever find out who was trying to kill you? How’s Thing? Is he here? What about-?”
Enid was silenced by Wednesday’s placing a cold finger to her lips, promptly shutting her up with a small blush on her cheeks. Sure, it was rude but Wednesday initiating any kind of touch was a blessing to Enid.
“Enid, it’s 8:00am in the morning. Please.” Wednesday commented sarcastically, halfheartedly swinging her bag down from her shoulders and placing it on her bed. As she unzipped it, staring down at her belongings, she called out. “But, Thing is…comforted to see you again. You had an impact on him.”
Enid easily deciphered Wednesday’s emotions morse code, resigning herself to a silent victory. Wednesday missed her too, and that’s all that mattered.
••••••
From then on, the two of them automatically slipped into her usual dynamic, but couldn’t help to notice the differences. Enid wasn’t letting Wednesday walk all over her anymore, she had just embraced who she was and she wasn’t just going to put her life on hold for whatever Wednesday wanted. But, it was now rare that Wednesday would call on her for something like that. It would be hard to see for anybody else, anybody but Enid, but she has grown more affection, at least to Enid, in her own ways. Taking down notes for classes Enid had missed, giving her lessons on the best ways for werewolves to kill people, waiting for Enid to fall asleep first to make sure she wouldn’t spend her night doomscrolling instead of resting.
But, there was something else on Enid’s mind, something nagging and clawing at the back of her brain nearly all the time she was with Wednesday. A craving, a neediness, a desire to be physically close to her, just in a…particular way. A way that made her cheeks break out in blushes if she even tried to say it, a way so childish she was certain Wednesday would be even less keen to indulge her than normal, a way that had been on Enid’s mind all of Summer. Being away from people, away from Wednesday, left Enid with a certain coldness. Now, being back with Wednesday felt like she had a fire right next to her, she just had to reach out and get closer, only that was the scariest part.
Why would Wednesday Addams even do something as silly as tickling? It was beneath her, it was stupid really. Enid felt like a lovesick idiot whenever she caught a glimpse of Wednesday’s perfect black nails, or whenever she caught herself leaning in towards her touch. She just couldn’t help it, the poor girl had been in a killer lee mood all Summer, with her only way of getting through being fantasying and fanfiction. But now, Wednesday was here, right next to her all the time. The nagging, burning request had bounced all about through Enid’s throat at this point, desperate to be released but never quite having the will to do so. The closest she’s gotten was acting Wednesday if she was tickling, to which she got in response,
“The last person who tickled me lost a finger.” Wednesday left it at that, much to Enid’s disappointment but she was riding the high of Wednesday at least saying the dreaded T-word…no matter how pathetic that seemed.
So now here she was, cozied up in her colourful pink bedsheets surrounded by an army of cutesy stuffies, a sharp contrast to Wednesday’s darkened bed, of which she was dissecting a rat on with Thing’s help. Enid didn’t need to pay attention to that though, she found herself with her head half poking out of the blanket, hand idly gripped onto her phone which was merely a few inches from her face. Fanfiction helped her through her lee moods before, she had to keep going. If anything, reading with Wednesday in the room made it even better, Enid would just take little glances up at her impassioned, serious face and promptly go back to her reading, with an even greater flustered feeling in her heart. There was always the fear of being caught in the very back of her mind but that too just made things more exciting for her. Eventually, she had to take a break, since the passage,
“…she felt her nails dig into her hips, clawing against her skin like she was looking for treasure. A distinct gasp was forced from her, followed by some mix of whiny, high pitched laughter.
“Aww, what’s the matter, little lee? You were the one begging for this a moment ago and now you can’t take it? Sorry, baby, but I’m having too much fun and your gonna get it!”
…proved too much for her to handle. A little look up at Wednesday proved that, her heart spiked as if she was scared for her life. Heat rose noticeably to her cheeks; Enid grasped her blankets and peeled them off of her carefully, stepping softly onto the dorm room floor. She prayed that Wednesday wouldn’t notice her as she scurried off into the side bathroom and locked the door, but she was sorely mistaken. Wednesday had noticed Enid’s peculiar behaviour long before this, but this was the only time she had grown concerned for her. She wrote off all of Enid’s quirks as a byproduct of her being needy and clingy, but something seemed…different about just now. Interpreting Enid’s morse code was difficult for Wednesday, their could be a million reasons as to why she was happy right now and just as many that could make her upset. It honesty made her feel like something of a detective to try and figure out what she was thinking. And it seemed like her first clue was on Enid’s bed.
Wednesday silently trod over to the other side of the room, sitting delicately on the side of Enid’s bed as she went to grab her phone. Snooping wasn’t a good look on her, but her rational thinking wasn’t at the forefront of her mind. Something about the way Enid was blushing as she left the room sparked a curiosity, almost a hatred towards whatever had caused it. Wednesday had to know what it was, even against her better judgement. But instead of finding Ajax begging to get back together with her, as she assumed, she instead found that Enid was reading. An improvement to the soul sucking nature of social media, but still one that left her as a slave to technology. Curiosity struck her once again, Wednesday awkwardly fidgeted about with the screen, scrolling up to try and get a better idea at what Enid was reading. She did grow weary that Enid might return soon, so she simply elected a paragraph to read.
“Being a brat isn’t gonna get you anywhere, hun. We both know how much you just loooove getting tickled, so sit still, no need to get all squirmy~!”
Wednesday’s curiosity more so turned to confusion. Was it just Enid having an affinity for tickling that was causing her to act strange? Sure, it was odd, atypical of societal standards but this was Nevermore, where expectation came to die. No, no, it couldn’t of been just that, Enid wouldn’t hide this from Wednesday unless…it had something to do with her. Unless Enid wanted something from her.
Oh. So that’s what this was all about. Wednesday felt a grin coming on. She was never one to indulge others for the sake of it, but this specific method could be rather…interesting to use on Enid.
Oh. This could really be something fun.
••••
End came out of the bathroom after splashing her face a good few times, trying to retain some semblance of normality. Taking deep breaths in and out, she clicked open the bathroom door satisfyingly and made her way back to her be-
Why was Wednesday sitting there?! Enid’s heart dropped to her stomach, arms growing still and heavy like dead weight. Immediately, she scanned around for her phone, not seeing it anywhere on the bed. Then, back to Wednesday, who eventually turned to her as Enid warily approached.
“Hey, Wends,” Enid said in a high pitched tone, trying to appear like everything was fine. She stood in front of Wednesday, wanting to feel a little bit in control as the goth girl looked back up at her. “Whatcha doing over here?”
“I thought I could use a change of scenery. I was getting too comfortable over there.” Wednesday stated, as she noticed Enid’s eyes glancing around the area of her bed around Wednesday. Looking up at her with interest, Wednesday reached beneath her thigh and held out Enid’s phone. “Looking for this? You left it out here when you ran out in a hurry.”
Enid quickly snatched up the phone, not minding the light accusation that was thrown at her. She felt some relief fill her when she realised that it was locked, but that Wednesday still could’ve read it. She glanced back over to Wednesday’s face as she cautiously sat down next to her, unable to read her expression.
“Yeah, you know, I just-had something to do..” Enid answered vaguely, her mouth moving faster than her brain could. She stared down, avoiding eye contact with Wednesday. She couldn’t handle that right now.
“Are you feeling well, Enid?” Wednesday asked, carefully reaching over and grazing Enid’s side with her nails in a manner that could almost pass as an accident. With a sharp inhale and a startled look in her eyes, Enid recoiled back from the touch, her soft pyjama shirt not protecting her sensitive midriff that well. “You certainly seem jumpy.”
“I’m fine, just a little-sensitive, is all,” Enid responded sheepishly, rubbing her side preciously. “Since when did that worry you?” She quickly followed with, the subject of tickling felt a little like holding her hand over a fire. A few moments would be nice and cozy and warm, but if she remained there for too long, she was gonna get burned.
“You’ve been acting different ever since Summer break, Sinclair. You’ve been insistent of sitting next to me in every class, standing closer to me than normal, constantly blushing while looking at your phone and now running out the room for what? No reason?” Wednesday pushed her suddenly, placing her full attention onto Enid, who felt like shrivelling up beneath the spotlight.
“I just missed you, obviously! It’s been months, Wednesday!” Enid blurted out, in a tone that didn’t even convince herself, even though she technically was telling the truth. Wednesday still wasn’t satisfied with just making Enid squirm, she leaned closer to her, placing her right hand on the other side of Enid’s body. Tensing, Enid let a whine get caught up in her throat, dividing her attention between Wednesday’s face and that dangerous looking hand.
“I don’t appreciate being lied to, Enid, do you know what happened to Pugsley the last time he tried lying to me?” Meekly, Enid shook her head, shying away from Wednesday’s intense gaze. A rare smirk appeared on Wednesday’s face as she leaned in closer to Enid’s ear, whispering a barely audible,
“I tickled him.” It was enough to make Enid’s hair stand up, an icy hot rush coursing through her veins and doing laps around her heart. She couldn’t even process it fully before Wednesday’s hand jabbed into her right side, making her jump closer to Wednesday’s body instinctively.
“Ah! W-wehehednesday!!” Enid shrieked loudly-was this really happening?! This had to be another dream, right?! But no, she could feel Wednesday’s cold body against her own burning one and the way he side tingled and buzzed was too…vivid. Wednesday’s fingers worked meticulously on her, finding a balance of being delicate and rough, a light but sharp touch, like needles sticking into her body. She wrapped her other arm around Enid’s waistline, trying to stop all that messy squirming of hers.
“You seem to be even more sensitive than him, he could at least hold in his laughter.” Wednesday commented as Enid’s grip on her pyjama shirt tightened. Almost in reprimand, she dug her nails into Enid’s hips while her other hand remained squeezing at her side. Enid couldn’t help but smile widely, eyes squinted as helpless giggles escaped her mouth.
“Ho-hohohold on, I’m nohohot reahahahady!!” Enid squealed, bouncing about against Wednesday’s hold, pounding her feet against the floor. All those little, adorable reactions of hers just encouraged Wednesday more and more; she was enjoying this a lot more than she thought she would.
“Oh, really?” Wednesday purred. “But I thought you loved this, Enid.” She said in a smug tone, one that made Enid pang with realisation. Wednesday knew. But…she wasn’t being mean about it…well, she was, but she wasn’t being cruel. She was indulging Enid with nothing more than a few light teases here and there. That thick sense of dread and worry fizzled away into a feeling of relief; Enid was getting everything she wanted.
“You-you lohohoked at my ph-eeeeek-phone, dihihidn’t you?!” Enid squealed out in a challenging, teasy, confident tone, which was interrupted by a ear piercing squeal once Wednesday’s hand burrowed their way beneath Enid’s thin top and scratched around at her tummy.
“You were going to keep hiding this from me unless I did something. And by the looks of things, you seem to be enjoying yourself quite a bit.” Wednesday relished in the way Enid’s cheeks lit up in a hot red, she didn’t know why but seeing her all flustered and smiley and giggly like this caused her insides to…soften up a little. Not like she’d ever admit that though. Instead, she slipped her other hand into Enid’s shirt too, dragging and tracing those powerful black nails of hers about.
“M-mahahAHAHAHAYBE~!!” Enid lightly teases, clutching onto Wednesday for comfort, twisting her body about on the spot. She pressed her forehead down on Wednesday’s shoulder, shrieking with laughter.
“Don’t hide that smile from me,” Wednesday ordered, jabbing her pinkie against Enid’s navel. She shrieked and drew her head up, hair all messy, sticking out in every which way. There was a look of exhilarated fear in her eyes, like someone going down a zip line, and a gaping, delighted smile spread across her face. “It…suits you.” Wednesday decided on. Enid didn’t have time to appreciate the compliment before Wednesday started scratching and pricking her nails against her navel again.
“I didn’t know about this adorable little spot of yours. Does it really tickle that bad?” She asked in a light, mocking tone, as Enid reeled back, laying down on her side, hearty laughing pouring from her mouth. Her body occasionally twitched whenever Wednesday really dug one of her wicked nails into her belly button. Wednesday followed her, leaning over and rolling up her shirt just enough so that one could mistake it for a crop top. She then scooted over to be straddling Enid’s thighs, resting her hands limply on her bare tummy.
“Wh-what are you doing?” Enid heaved, gazing down brightly at Wednesday’s predatory hands, her own fingers kneading away at her duvet like a cat.
“Trying to decide whether you deserve a countdown or not.” Wednesday responded, a sly sense of enjoyment laced within in her voice. She looked back up to Enid’s face, crimson and excited. Slowly, she decided on nodding, a little smile appearing on her face which almost convinced Wednesday. “If you insist. You’ll have until 0.”
“Three,” Wednesday began and Enid took in a deep breath, nerves eating away at her skin.
“Two,” Suddenly though, Wednesday’s nails found themselves scribbling all over Enid’s tummy, scratching along her belly and then plucking at her sides. She scraped her nails against Enid’s poor stomach and hammered them down against her navel.
“TH-THAHAHAT’S CHEAHAHAHATING!!!” Enid exploded with laughter, limbs flailing about like a headless chicken. Everything felt hazy yet vivid, she wheezed for air, vision becoming blurry with tears but she could still make out Wednesday’s face, fitted with a small smile.
“Aw, is it? Poor you.” Wednesday smirked, her hands felt like they were moving faster than ever before. Each second she was pressing down, clawing, kneading, tapping at a different spot on Enid’s torso, but she made sure to give extra attention to her navel, adoring the squeaks and squeals that it produced. “But we both know that your loving this.”
Enid hid her hot face beneath her elbows, grinding her heels down against the mattress. She loved hated how Wednesday was clued into her little secret now, knowing she’d hang it over her head whenever something like this happened.
“IHIH’M GOHOHOHOHNA KICK YOHOHOUR AHAHASS AHAHAFTER THIS!!” Enid howled out, her elongated, sharp werewolf claws pricking out. Her leg kicked ferociously beneath Wednesday’s petite frame, which looked so much larger now.
“Now that you mention it, your feet are kicking awfully a lot…” Wednesday thought aloud in a low tone, tapping her fingertips against Enid’s abdomen. The cogs in Enid’s mind ran a little slower than Wednesday’s so by the time the goth was scooted over to be sitting on Enid’s ankles, Enid perked up.
“Wait, wait, hold on Wednesday, not there!” Wednesday only looked back at Enid’s face one, determining that she was being playful by her massive smile. With her comfort secured, Wednesday turned her attention back to Enid’s socked feet, grazing her nails against Enid’s soles to test the waters. Enid froze, her body going rigid and still before seeming to crumble so easily at the touch. Sweet, small giggles escaped from her lips as her body relaxed and melted, slumping over. She weakly reached out her hand towards Wednesday, begging for nothing in particular, other than her attention.
“W-wehehends, it ti-tihihckles!!” Enid squealed, clenching her hands up, her knee twitching upwards from time to time. Wednesday’s smile softened in a way that made her glad Enid couldn’t see her right now.
“That’s the point, Sinclair, don’t tell me you didn’t know that?” Wednesday joked sarcastically, tapping her nails down Enid’s arches to then sink them right into her heels. She tenderly dragged her nails back up to the tops of her toes and grabbed the tip of Enid’s left sock, gently beginning to pull it off.
“Oh-ohohoh God-!” Enid giggled out in anticipation, recoiling her hands back sharply to cover her mouth. Wednesday turned back, trying to fix the softness in her eyes.
“Don’t do that, I want to hear your laughter.” She said, her words dripping with more affection than she thought possible. Their eye contact lingered for longer than normal, something deep sparked within their gaze, something that made Wednesday turn away, adding on an, “It’s pathetic,” to try and save face. She immediately traced her nails around Enid’s sole to try and distract the both of them, getting into a rhythm of scribbling up and down.
“Any other sweet spots I should know about?” Wednesday asked, half from curiosity and half to try and regain her authority. Enid squeaked slightly at the question, averting her gaze in a deliberate, timid yet teasy manner.
“I-I dohohn’t knooo-ohohw~!” Enid said, practically challenging Wednesday to find out. She obliged, abandoning her feet as she turned back to face Enid. A few pokes at her thighs and knees quickly caused Wednesday to write them off, so she crawled right back up to Enid’s hips, straddling them once more. Enid obligingly laid back down, not bothering to fight Wednesday.
“Let’s see,” Wednesday tapped her fingers against Enid’s ribs as she thought, just light enough to keep her giggling and squirming beneath her. She racked her brain, trying to think of where she hadn’t targeted yet, before a rather obvious spot appeared in her mind. A look of knowing confidence overcame Wednesday, staring down Enid with a hint of amusement in her eyes. Leisurely, she began spidering her nails up from Enid’s ribs, digging in deep enough to make every little ‘step’ of her fingers feel weighty.
“Ooo, I think I got you.” Wednesday grinned, to which Enid shook her head, despite praying, begging on the inside that Wednesday knew. Wednesday took her time trailing her fingers up to being just below Enid’s armpits but then, she just left them there, not bothering to go further. Enid’s face looked like she was about to blow, bottom lit stuck out with her gaze lingering on Wednesday’s hands in a silent begging that they’d just do something.
“Tickle, tickle, Enid!” Wednesday’s hands suddenly pounced up onto Enid’s armpits, making the blonde shriek and squeak and bounce back against the bed. Her body tossed and shook about with each little wiggle or scratch from Wednesday’s dexterous fingers, swirling about against her ticklish pits.
“EHEHEHHEEHEK!! WE-WEHEHEDNESDAY!!” Enid screamed out, praying none of the other forms were hearing her. She’d never seen this side of Wednesday before, even when got into her sadistic moods before this, she never acted this playful or tender. It made her feel special, to know that she was deserving of this side of Wednesday. How silly it was to think that Wednesday would be disgusted if her just for enjoying being tickled.
“What’s the matter, puppy? Is the tickling too bad for you? Too sharp? Too fast? You poor, poor thing, you should’ve known that you’d be far too adorable to just stop tickling.” Wednesday smirked down out her, jabbing her nails down into her armpits and circling them about. That proved to be the final nail in Enid Sinclair’s coffin, she convulsed with bleating laughter, those tears in her eyes finally spilling down her burning, bright cheeks. She thought that just a tease from Wednesday would be enough to do her in but this, this was more than she would’ve ever been prepared for.
“OHOHOHOKAY, WAHAHAHAIT, PL-PLEAHAHAHAHAHAHASE!!” Enid begged through her laughter and besides a few mean, quick scratches, Wednesday stopped, a little unsure of herself. She normally just left her torture victims once she was done with them, but how could she just leave Enid? Seeing the girl there, below her panting for breath, her tired, drained body shaking with each deep inhale and exhale sparked something mushy inside of Wednesday. Softly, she brushed Enid’s hair behind her ear, fixing it up as Enid laid there, allowing Wednesday to take care of her.
“Deep breaths, baby, I don’t want you passing out on me.” Enid felt as if she just might if she heard that nickname again. But once she finally had enough air in her that made her think she wasn’t going to drop dead, Wednesday got off of her hips, sitting next to her. Enid sat up, fitted with the brightest, joyous face that Wednesday had seen since she got back to Nevermore. She couldn’t even stop herself from pulling Wednesday into a hug, who froze at the sudden warmth before slowly relaxing into it.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your literally the best, Wednesday, that was just so-fun! I-I’m sorry, I don’t know what else to say, I thought you-thank you for being..okay will that stuff!” Enid squealed in delight, pulling away from the hug. Wednesday’s brow furrowed, did Enid really think she had to hide something like that from her? She took in a deep breath, considering her next words, and actions, carefully. She took Enid’s hands in her own, choosing to stare down at them, not thinking she could handle staring at Enid right now.
“Enid, for the past 30 minutes, I’ve been attempting to properly dissect a rat on my bed. It would be hypocritical of me to ever judge you for any of your interests when you’ve been so tolerant of mine. Don’t feel as if you need to hide things like this from me in the future.” Wednesday commanded, meeting Enid’s gaze, which was laced with sentimentality. Enid nodded, wiping her eyes as her smile became as delicate as glass and as wobbly as a tight rope.
“Of-of course, thanks Wends, really, it means a lot.” Enid choked out, before a small idea came to mind on how to pay Wednesday back for how shockingly sweet she’d been today. Extending a large claw on her index finger, she grinned at Wednesday.
“Need a hand with your dissection?”
Despite the cool, winter temperature, Wednesday oddly felt her cheeks heat up as she considered Enid’s offer, before promptly nodding, if only so she could turn her face away.
don’t imagine your favorite character being grabbed by their hips and completely doubling over with surprised laughter. Don’t imagine their knees clumsily giving out from under them as they make a whole bunch of giggly, squealy, wheezy noises that no self-respecting person should ever make. Don’t think about it. Don’t. Don’t. Don’t.
I wrote this a while ago and wanted to send it to someone anonymously before posting it so it didnt seem as if I was trying to gain more traction than I would’ve originally. But I’m too impatient to wait any longer!
It was a glorious Saturday morning. The sun was shining, the sparrowkeets were chirping, and neither Korra nor Asami had anything to do today. Even with a clear schedule Asami continued to be an early riser, waking up at 7am instead of a weekday’s 6.
Asami’s eyes fluttered open as she yawned and stretched her limbs out. She rubbed her eyes with two fingers to get rid of both her drowsiness and the eye crusties that had formed in her sleep. She opened her eyes and noted the fading amber glow of the sunrise around the bedroom. Glancing at the clock on her nightstand, the time read 7:23am.
Asami didn’t want to encourage her inner monologue to begin. Instead deciding to roll on her side and gaze lovingly at her girlfriend, Korra, rather than acknowledge her current comfort.
As expected, the Avatar was still asleep, snoring even, with limbs sprawled about and her blanket a mess. The two tried to share a singular blanket but a multitude of problems quickly arose.
Asami chilled easily and required a thicker blanket while Korra and her Southern Water Tribe genes was overheating from the thinnest of blankets. Korra moved around a lot in her sleep and would often wake up to her blanket on the floor while Asami was mostly still throughout the night. Trying to share one blanket only led to both parties being dissatisfied, so Asami had her thick blanket while Korra had a cooling one (which didn’t really matter as she’d kick it off in her sleep but oh well).
Asami just smiled at Korra, taking in the adorable scene for a while. After a few minutes the urge to freshen up grew too strong and Asami just had to get up. She sighed as she stood up from the bed, adjusting her pink nightgown and walking into the bathroom to do her morning routine.
Nearly an hour later Asami was finished with her ritual and gently returned to laying in her bed, being careful as to not rouse Korra. Asami chuckled as she thought back to Korra’s earnest attempts to convince her that the daily ritual was much too long with the very serious reasoning of cuddle time being cut short. “Not all of us can roll out of bed looking perfect like you.” She had responded with a peck on the cheek.
Now she had ample time to just observe the powerful sleeping beauty of a mess beside her. It wasn’t too long before a wave of mischievousness washed over Asami and she quickly began sifting through her nightstand drawer.
She smirked as she pulled out a marker.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Korra shifted around multiple times, trying to get comfy enough to fall back asleep. She groaned as she accepted her fate and opened her eyes.
Korra sat up and stretched, cracking her back, shoulders, neck, and any other stiff joints. She looked to her right, immediately making eye contact with her girlfriend who was smiling (was that a hint of amusement?).
“Good morning beautiful.” Asami sighed happily.
“G’mornin’ Sams..” Korra replied as she finished stretching.
“You’re looking awfully.. special, this morning.” Asami smiled.
Korra narrowed her eyes, there was definitely a hint of amusement that time. ‘What is she up to?’ She pondered.
“You’re awfully suspicious this morning.” Korra stated.
“Whatever do you mean, sweetie?” Asami responded with her most innocent voice, going as far as to bat her eyelashes.
“Okay something is definitely up, cmon, out with it.”
“I am absolutely appalled at these accusations. Cant a girl just admire her wonderful girlfriend?” Asami couldn’t help but glance at Korra’s lips.
Korra noticed the glance, couldn’t help but think it was a little higher than usual, but decided to put aside any suspicions. She definitely preferred where this was going.
She leaned closer and opened her mouth to flirt back, when suddenly Asami’s hand clamped over her mouth and pushed her back.
“Nuh-uh, not until you brush your teeth. The only thing evil about the morning to me is your breath.” Asami teased.
Korra huffed playfully and begrudgingly got out of bed, heading into the bathroom.
She picked up her toothbrush from the sink counter and squeezed a blob of toothpaste on it, turning on the faucet to shake some water in her mouth as well. She looked up at the mirror, about to put the toothbrush in her mouth, when she noticed two swirly lines above her mouth.
Someone had drawn a mustache on her face, a mustache! This was absolutely unacceptable.
“What the- Asami!” Korra called out.
Asami joined Korra in the bathroom and “gasped” when she saw Korra’s face.
“Wherever did that come from?” Asami bit back a smile.
“Oh I think I’ve got a good idea.” Korra glared playfully at the prankster.
Asami just giggled and pat Korra’s cheek, turning to walk away. But Korra wasn’t having any of it.
“You’ve got five seconds to run.” She simply advised.
Asami glanced at her and quickly took off running out the bedroom. True to her word, Korra ran after her no later than five seconds later.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Asami ran through the halls of her mansion as she slipped on her purple robe. She evidentially hardly had enough time to grab it, as Korra was right behind her.
Asami just couldn’t lose Korra, even when shutting doors behind her and trying to juke her. She had an idea when she spotted the staircase nearby and quickly began to make her way down it. Just as she predicted, Korra used airbending to cushion a jump down all the stairs. Asami immediately whirled around and went back up and to the left, out of sight, leaving Korra in her dust.
“I’ll get you for that and the mustache!” Korra shouted after her, climbing the stairs to follow once more.
Korra ran down the left hallway, which led to a dead end. There were only two rooms to hide in and Asami was in one of them.
Korra decided to look in the room to her right first. She opened the door and did a quick once over. This was one of the several living rooms in the Sato Mansion, not many hiding spots but Korra knew the engineer was resourceful.
“Come out, come out, wherever you are~.” Korra sing-sung as she walked around the large, elegant sofa.
She stared at the curtains, checking for any disturbances, when suddenly she heard a small giggle coming from the other side of the sofa.
“Aha! There you are!” Korra shouted as she immediately ran around it.
Asami was crouched down behind it. She had crouched behind the couch when Korra entered the room, and quietly made her way around at the same time she did. Asami quickly pushed herself up but Korra ‘s tackle came right after. They playfully wrestled on the ground, trying to one up each-other.
Korra eventually came out victorious, straddling Asami’s waist and pinning her wrists beside her head as they both caught their breath. Korra was easily captivated by her girlfriend’s beauty. Especially when her face was bare and her hair was sprawled about in a wild mess. The way her chest rose and fell, her emerald eyes…
Asami’s chuckle broke through her train of thought.
“You still have the mustache on?” She giggled.
Korra was immediately thrown back into why she chased the prankster down and fortified herself against the woman’s beauty, pouting.
“Tsk tsk tsk, you almost got yourself out of this.” Korra simply answered before freeing Asami’s wrists to dig her fingers into her torso.
“Whahaha!” Asami’s arms quickly went to try and protect herself as she began laughing. Korra just brushed them aside and continued scribbling her fingers up and down her middle. After a few moments of that, she switched to squeezing up and down Asami’s sides which elicited a squeal.
“EEEEE! Wahahait waitwaitwait-” Asami laughed out, still grasping for Korra’s hands.
Just to tease, Korra paused. “Hm?”
Asami didn’t expect Korra to actually stop, but this was her chance!
“I- um, it’s just a marker! You didn’t even wash it off so obviously it doesn’t bother you.” Asami argued, still smiling from the previous attack.
Korra just laughed and continued to tickle her.
“That’s the best you’ve got? It doesn’t even make sense!” Korra said, thoroughly amused by all this.
Asami weakly grabbed Korra’s wrists and pushed at them, weakened by her laughter. Korra easily grabbed both wrists and was about to pin them above her head when she had a better idea.
Korra slowed the squeezing to just tracing up and down her side while holding her wrists in her left hand. “Hey Samiiii.” She drew out with a teasing tone.
“Whaha- what?” Asami giggled back.
“Clasp your hands for me.” Korra innocently directed with a sweet smile.
Asami shook her head as she giggled, knowing just what Korra was up to.
“I didn’t wanna have to do this…” Korra sighed dramatically before leaning down to blow a raspberry on Asami’s neck, as her nightgown left her tummy protected from that.
Asami shrieked and laughed while pulling on her wrists and moving her head about.
“I’ll keep doing that until you clasp your hands, Sami.” Korra warned playfully, already taking another breath to blow another raspberry.
“Okokok!” Asami gave in and clasped her hands, leaving the fingers of one hand up.
“Thank you.” Korra gave her a peck on the cheek and clasped her left hand with Asami’s. Effectively locking her hands together with much less effort than trying to hold her wrists.
Korra immediately continued her assault, this time on Asami’s ribcage. Asami laughed and pulled uselessly on her hands as Korra pinned them above her head. Now available, she went for her armpits.
“I’ve hahahad enohohough!” Asami exclaimed through laughter.
“I dunno… I mean, you haven’t really said sorry so..” Korra sighed, feigning hurt.
“I’m sohohorry okahay?”
“Hm, no. Not good enough.” Korra blew another raspberry into Asami’s neck, causing another shriek and wave of hysterics.
“I suppose you’ve learnt your lesson.” Korra stopped her tickly assault on Asami, letting her catch her breath.
Korra let go of Asami’s hands and they immediately wrapped themselves around her body. As Korra climbed off Asami, the engineer curled in on herself; still giggling a little as she panted. Korra smirked victoriously as she sat with her legs crossed and pulled Asami into her lap.
“I will never draw a mustache on you again, spirits that was certainly a way to wake up.” Asami chuckled as she leaned back into her girlfriend.
“Damn, I thought that was fun! I suppose I can find other infractions you commit against me.” Korra responded playfully.
Lee!Celestia, Ler!Luna
972 words
Celestia sighed as she continued to sign decree after decree. Today had been a long one and she was more than happy to lower the Sun, but alas, she still had the final stretch to finish up before she could retire for the night.
Half an hour later, she had finally signed each scroll and tied them up nicely in a sack nearby. Her eyelids were heavy as she looked around the room, eager to see anything besides inked letters.
The fireplace was lit, keeping her personal study warm during the current winter months. Celestia was laid upon a carpet; she had moved here after tiring of both standing and sitting at her desk. The room was elegantly decorated just like the rest of the castle, there were a few personal touches as well. Such as one of Twilight’s first assignments in Magic Kindergarten, pictures of herself and her sister, Luna, and other keepsakes she gathered over the centuries.
Celestia just laid her head down on a throw pillow, too exhausted to move. Unfortunately, her brain hurt from all the activity that day. Sleep would not come easy. The door creaked open and she glanced over, seeing Luna poking her head through.
“Sister, what are you doing here so late? It is nearly midnight!” Luna asked, walking into the room and nudging the door behind her closed.
“I had many papers to sign. I just finished and will return to my chambers, eventually.” Celestia replied, using her magic to remove her crown, neckpiece, and shoes.
Luna walked over and sat down in front of the exhausted monarch. She was clearly very stressed, but what could Luna do? Perhaps some tea?
“I could have the chef brew you a tea, sister.” Luna suggested, laying down.
“Thank you, Luna, but I am afraid I’m too frazzled for tea right now. Speaking is becoming a chore.” Celestia replied, thankful for her sister’s words.
Luna’s frown deepened, her ears lowering a little as she lowered her head to be closer to her elder sister’s. ‘What would Pinkie Pie do?’ She asked herself. Her entire demeanor lit up as she thought of an answer.
“I know just what will help you, sister.” Luna stated, removing her royal attire and setting it aside as well.
“Luna, I really don’t think-”
“Well I think someone needs a visit from the tickle monster.”
“What did you just say?” Celestia immediately lifted her head.
Luna jumped at her sister, pinning her on her back using her magic to control her wings. She nuzzled Celestia’s side with her muzzle and the monarch immediately burst into giggles.
“Pinkie Pie informed me of the healing properties of laughter, so just keep still would you!” Luna answered playfully, blowing a raspberry on her tummy.
Celestia squealed and kicked her hooves around as she laughed. Luna dodged the waving hazards and used her wing to flutter feathers on Celestia’s back hooves. Celestia continued laughing as Luna carried on for a while longer before pausing and allowing her a break.
“I have forgotten how ticklish you are, sister.” Luna had a very amused look on her face.
“Ye-yeah, me too..” Celestia added as she caught her breath.
Luna took a wing in her mouth and pulled a feather from it, wincing a little. She lifted it with magic and glanced at Celestia’s face. She was, blushing? Was she embarrassed? Luna had not expected that, she thought Tia would love tickles. Based on how often the younger sister was a victim to the elder’s tendencies long ago. Luna planned to take full advantage of this.
“Flustered, sister?” Luna asked, raising an eyebrow.
Celestia looked at Luna and fixed her face to seem more composed and neutral. “Of course not, sister.”
Luna narrowed her eyes, up to the challenge. She waved the feather close to Celestia’s face, the princess immediately closed her eyes, pushed her head back against the floor, and turned it to the side. Luna dragged the feather along Tia’s exposed neck all the way up to behind her ear, eliciting squeaky giggles from the white mare.
“I notice you havent attempted to stop me,” Luna began. “Perhaps one could be.. enjoying this?” She teased.
Celestia opened her mouth to respond, but only let out giggles as Luna used the feather on her tummy.
“Tickle tickle, Tia~” Luna teased further, switching to nuzzling one wingpit and using a feather on the other.
“AHHHHAHAHA! SISTER PLEHEHEASE!” Celestia shrieked and thrashed about while laughing, blushing a bit from the teases.
After a few moments Luna finally stopped and let Celestia’s wings go. Celestia shivered from the tingly feeling tickles left as she giggled and caught her breath. She rolled over to lay on her stomach and look at Luna.
“Thank you, sister. My headache has lessened just as you said.”
“Are you sure you’re not just thanking me because I’m the only one to have tickled you in a millennia?” Luna quirked an eyebrow with a smirk.
“Quite.” Celestia narrowed her eyes playfully and proceeded to yawn.
“Oh, excuse me. I suppose I’ll be off to bed then.” Celestia rose and levitated her things.
“I should get started on patrolling the dream realm.” Luna agreed and got up, also lifting her things.
“Sister, you mustn’t be too embarrassed to enjoy a fun activity. I myself admit it’s.. quite, nice.” Luna’s bravado lessened as she went on.
“Hm, well, I’ll remember that.” Celestia said playfully as she exited the room.
The door closed behind her, but not before Luna suddenly felt a ticklish feeling on her underbelly. She squeaked and jumped back, seeing the yellow magic aura she knew well fade from the feather; which floated to the ground.
There were few nightmares that night, so Luna took to Celestia’s dream to enact revenge.
