#mermay numbah 2 "Make them fight God" was Stan Lee's directive when @jackkirbyart created Galactus for @marvel . I don't even exactly remember how this idea really popped up. I just remember thinking "Galactus eats a lot, and I think whales do too." Seeing how his herald has a giant surfboard, it only felt natural. I wanted to do one more marvel thing before doing something else for mermay if I can, and the ocean and space have always felt like two entities that were so similar to me. So vast and powerful and destructive, with so much we can learn about it and so little we could really understand.
