I have shards of a memory of going on a field trip with my kindergarten class to an orchard and sometime later in the week, making and eating apple pizza as a class. in high school I worked at a local gimmick pizza place which offered apple cobbler pizza and that recipe used commercial apple pie filling and a crumble topping over regular thin crust dough. tasty, but definitively not real apple pizza. In the classic NBC series quantum leap, the main character can time travel, but only within his own lifetime. on a single occasion he leaps into a younger version of himself, somewhere around high school age. If I ever build time machine, get trapped in the web of time, and inadvertently occupy a younger self, I hope it's kindergarten me, and I'll insist my parents tape the apple pizza recipe to the fridge and save it when we move the next year
