I HAVE MISSED SO MUCHHHHHHHHHH
Just like with Zakuro, Ichigo also had some animation enhancements to her attack. Except, for Ichigo, it was for her 2nd attack, Ribbon Strawberry Surprise. For Ichigo, the sparkles and light swirls were enhanced, the light coming from her attack is brighter and the final scene adds light rays to the attack.
Small fact: Apparently, the 4Kids English dub didn’t want to go through the trouble of speeding up Ichigo/Zoey spinning every time she used this attack. So they edited it once, in episode 15, and replace it every episode afterwards with that edited footage. So the Mew Mew Power dub never showed the sequence with the enhanced effects.

Okay, just to clear something up…
It appears that the reason Aoyama’s colors suddenly get messed up in the one infamous shot is because they somehow ended up using Ichigo’s friend Miwa’s color pallet by mistake. They were both talking to Ichigo, they both have short hair…. They’re wearing entirely different outfits, but it was only the 2nd episode, and mistakes were bound to be made. Also, Ichigo’s sleeve cuff is skintone as well. Oops. It’s just a bit unfortunate that such a glaring one happened during the reveal of an important plot point of Ichigo’s ears and tail popping out, but it’s not the only time someone swaps colors with another main character.
( Thanks to @hikayagami for sending this on such short notice. ^^: ) This one is from episode 34. It looks perfectly fine, until you remember that this episode was about Retasu….. And that’s supposed to be her ( look closely and you can see the braids), but they used Ichigo’s colors by mistake. At least this one was corrected, but they also incorrected(?) Bu-ling’s colors to her Mew Pudding ones, so… Mistakes happen??
Long story short, Aoyama wasn’t whitewashed, he was Miwashed! ….. Okay, that joke was bad, have this awkward out of context shot of Miwa to end things off.
OoO
Finally got around to scanning these! From Tokyo Mew Mew episode 30. Ichigo is stunned after the fake Mew Aqua shatters infront of her. 3 Genga sketches + Storyboard.
