Do you know how many dogs I’ve met that get scared or anxious around men because in their previous home men hit them? A lot, and they are very protective of the women who have adopted them now.

Men who are violent towards women are often violent towards animals as well. They think we’re all chattel. If a man wants you to choose between your dog or cat or him, dump the guy. Those animals will love you for the rest of your life, loyal and true.

Story time My mother and I had a pit bull (beast) when I was a kid. It was the most loving and loyal dog you could ever own, never growled or barked at anyone. My moms ex boyfriend came over one day, and beast would not let him anywhere near me or my mother at anytime. We had to put him in a separate room multiple times when my mom's bf would visit. A few months goes by and they break up because he was showing signs of aggression (yelling, threatening). Not long after we find out that he was put on trail for murdering his pregnant girlfriend a few years before we met him, but was let go because the police "lost" some crucial evidence to the case. Point is to always trust your animals, they are never wrong.

Leo will appreciate any present he gets, but he secretly judges hard af on what you get him. One thing he’ll always want is incense for when he meditates or new teas to try out with Splinter.

Raph has to be the hardest to pick out a present for. He never tells anyone what he wants when asked, so you basically have to ball park it. But secretly Raph is a huge geek for handmade gifts, it makes him feel like he’s important enough for you to take time out of your day to make a gift for him. He’d love a homemade scrap book (throw in a few protein bars and he’s in heaven)

We all know Donnie is a huge nerd and thinks he would want new parts for a project he’s working on. But, all Donnie truly wants is to hang out with you on any special occasion. Whether you’re a good friend, crush, etc, that’s all Donnie wants. Take a day off and watch the big nerd do science

Mikey loves anything you’d get him, he cherishes each gift like it’s the last thing he’ll ever get. This can range from art supplies to cooking materials to a gift card for ITunes (even a new soccer ball since Raph ruined his last one)
