The creators behind all 75 works posted for Old Dogs Fest 2026 have now been revealed! You can head over to the AO3 Collection or our Masterlist Spreadsheet to see the authors and artists responsible for your favourite pieces this year.

We’d like to thank everyone who took part, whether by writing, creating art, or by reading, commenting, and supporting our wonderful creators.

In a few days, we’ll be sharing a wrap-up post with some statistics about the fest, as well as opening a sub-collection for any late works inspired by the fest. In the meantime, keep enjoying the ODF works, and if you fancy it, do check out Moony’s Midlife Crisis Fest as well -- claiming will be opening soon!

We're excited to announce that prompting is here!

You can submit your prompt using this form.

Please note that we will be capping this year's submissions at 300 prompts. We encourage you to check the prompt list before submitting to avoid duplicates or prompts that are too similar to one another.

Prompting will be open until 20 March and claiming will start 24 March.

All prompts are available to be viewed in our prompt browser as soon as they are submitted.

At the bottom of the spreadsheet, you'll find four sections/tabs that you can use to navigate the prompts more easily.

ships alphabetical (no dead dove) - non dead dove prompts only, sorted by ship in alphabetical order

ships alphabetical (dead dove) - dead dove prompts only, sorted by ship in alphabetical order

art friendly - art prompts (prompts marked as art friendly or works for fic/art), excludes dead dove

The Purpose of the tabs is to allow creators more control over the content they view. Artists and writers are both, of course, welcome to claim any prompt. The purpose of the Art Friendly tab is to help artists find more suitable prompts, but does not restrict either form of creation.
