100 Days of Making Comics/Toad Road
Taking at least 30 minutes out of my day for 100 days to work on re-drawing old comic strips for Toad Road Comics issue #1. (100 Days of Making Comics was originally created by KEVIN CROSS!)
PROGRESSSS:
6/3 DAY 1: Two pages of sketches (part of the second one is covered up, I don’t want to reveal the punchline yet!) page one: “I’d rather be a FREAK than a FREAKIN’ JERK!” summarizes Ted the one legged armless midget’s basic philosophy on life. (about 30 minutes.)
6/4 DAY 2: purchased supplies, and just boringly drew borders on all of the pages that needed ‘em. (32 minutes)
6/5 DAY 3: Cactus practice. These need some work. His eyebrows overlapping with his hair will need to be worked out. (40 minutes)
Some frisky crow quill pen sketches
some new sketches of Ted the Midget
Birdmouth!
Look at the stars...

Stay positive!
Quick backstory on this one: Ted the one-legged armless midget is in an ongoing affair with a bearded woman who is married to a jerk.
