While most of his crimes are explainable by them being regular "villain" crimes like

Blowing up a building? Sure that's fine

Murder to frame someone? Great

More murder bc they couldn't solve a riddle? Alr silly villain things

Etc. etc.

Like those are typical crimes of a villain

But I will never excuse what he did to Kris. I genuinely think her death is one of the scariest in the show for its realism. Kris tried to get away from a dangerous man who just proudly admitted to killing her boyfriend and, in trying to shut her up, she's killed and then he cradles her body, the body of a woman trying to escape him seconds ago. It's so genuinely off putting
