Options for when we meet the Nobodies:

They didn't know Ashton was still alive and there is a teary joyous reunion, complete with apologies for unknowingly leaving them behind

They did know Ashton was alive and there is a teary guilt-ridden reunion a la "we should have come back, every day I thought about coming back"

They didn't know Ashton was still alive but they're insultingly unfazed by his sudden reappearance, confused that he would spend years of his life working off their debt, and see no reason to reconnect beyond buying him a drink. This pisses off the party moreso than Ashton

They immediately ran from one danger into another and are somehow beholden to/trapped by the party's most recent big-bad, and Ashton and the party get to save everyone

They did know Ashton was alive, and Ashton is actually pissed as hell at all of them about it

They're the team that set up Dorian's brother as their fall guy

One of the things I love about Taliesin playing Ashton is how they embody them.

Overall distrust with people but slowly trusting Chaos crew

The way Tal leave over on the table making his shoulders closer to his head. Making his posture horrible but yet very fitting for ashton. A crude look on their face when talking.

Ashton leaning back when talking with Chaos crew and noticable having a shoulder over the back of the chair often.

Leaving forward when talking to people and getting information out of them in a curious way to the point the other person doesn't know exactly what is happening

Tal drinking from his cup but very much in a way ashton would. Hard sip, drinking it down like it is meant to burn way more than a drink should.

I fucking love these details and making the character come to life.

Ashton’s gleeful blow by blow account of their Successful Bribe is great because it implies that despite having crimed before, not a single crew they’ve run with has ever let them get anywhere near talking to a mark.

Like Ashton’s rep in crime circles is probably “handy in a fight you wouldn’t believe the crazy shit they can pull but for the love of all that’s holy don’t let them open their mouth” and Ashton’s been getting really fucking tired of being told to just shut the fuck up and look intimidating.

But this new crew has no fucking idea what they’re doing, and are actually relying on Ashton. As a face. To bribe people. For their contacts. To talk. Like, there’s no way this won’t end in disaster, right? But until the shit hits the fan, they’re having the best fucking time.
