One day while planning a fun event for their friends, Mickey and Oswald find them trapped in a strange place with someone who seems to know them, despite them not knowing him. Without the remote or the magic brush they have to survive this strange world and convince this other toon to let them go, through their journey they find out many past events that change their lives forever

Note: this is something I've always wanted to do! Although it's short for the first chapter I'm happy to have it done! Stay tuned for part two!

I’ve been on a wild art journey lately, tumblr isn’t much my thing but I forget to post everywhere else too lol, I decided to draw kit again, with some inspiration;;

I got my inspiration from @rubberhoze (as usual I love your art and it makes me happy) and also @toonycryptid , I fell in love with cartoon cat, and with my obsession with felix and Julius i stumbled upon her and I’ve fallen in love with the art. You both draw toons amazing to me and I strive to be as amazing as you both!

All in all, I want to draw kit more, the design changed a bit, and I’ve made it canon that their hair is actually white but they dye it with purple ink to “add a little color”

I’m a huge fan of @cabvb-au and i decided to challenge myself by drawing my character kit in the three vampire levels? I guess you could call it...the common design is my favorite overall and this was just a fun challenge I might do with other toons

WOAH! A post?! So- @rubberhoze posted like a how to draw toons a while back...and now that I have my apple pen back I decided to try it out and now I have this lovely toon.

I like the idea that this character is non-binary...so that’s what I’m going with..

(another thing on Julius because I love him-) I feel like if someone made fun of either of his siblings or bullied them Julie would be ready to stab or attack, like an overprotective brother. Especially with Pete since they're the same age- (Pete's been around since 1925 with Julius-)

Adding on- I don't think he'd care if he were insulted, he's just like "yeah whatever" but the second someone insults his brothers he's ready to stab

Let’s get this blog started!! I want to be confident and better at not being a nervous wreck. I have seen many blogs post freely and have confidence in their art and i really want to be the same. This is gonna be the start! I have many things and people to thank for but the main person i want to thank for, @rubberhoze , if I’m honest this amazing person inspired me to keep trying to draw toons and to keep trying to be confident! I thank them for that :) i decided my first drawing should be Julius the Cat, one f my favorite toons (and probably the one i can draw the best)

It’s true! Especially given a) the technology they had at the time to pull this off, and b) that they had characters from TWO separate companies as opposed to different characters from the same comics publisher.

So yeah, Roger Rabbit wins the ambitious crossover award, hands down. Sorry Marvel.

The agreement with Disney and Warner Bros was that they could only use their biggest characters (Mickey and Donald, Bugs and Daffy) if the other corrosponding character had the exact same amount of screentime. This is why, in the movie, Bugs and Mickey are sharing scenes, and Daffy and Donald are sharing scenes.

It’s also worth mentioning that every single animator in the industry that wasn’t already working on something was called in to work on this film. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

Didn’t they also have lawyers going through the script making sure that the number of words spoken by characters from each company totalled the exact same?

Plus Porky Pig gets the last spoken line, but Tinkerbell closes the movie.

Also worth noting they were so strict about the screentime being the same that they had to have the exact same number of frames.

Fun fact: Felix the cat was in the movie too! Next time they go through the toon town tunnel look on the top of the tunnel ;) (that's where I saw him last)

@rubberhoze gave me permission to color one of their art pieces. This was a good practice for me and I was so happy to color this :D
