Surgeon confirmed a sinus perforation today, weâre gonna give it a couple weeks to see if it heals on its own. Apparently I had one on both sides (wouldâve been nice to know before) but the right one healed before I even noticed it. Probably caused that sinus leakage issue though. So hopefully this one will heal too.
My husband was telling his boss about it and how freaked out I was, and he sent him home early to take care of me đ„č
can i make it any more obvious?
Well idk if I have dry sockets, but I definitely have a hole between my surgical site and my sinuses on the upper left. Because when I take a deep breath through my nose, with my mouth closed, I can feel air go through my gums on the upper left đ«
But I donât think itâs related to the yellow leakage yesterday, because that was only coming out of my right nostril, my left was normal. But idk đ€·ââïž I also had my stitches fall out of my upper right site today.
Still canât open my mouth much, because it causes burning pain on my lower left jaw. Plus the corner of my mouth on that side is still cracked af so opening my mouth too much makes it crack worse. So idk how theyâre gonna check inside my mouth tomorrow when I call my surgeon đ I may need muscle relaxers or something.
Also my swelling has gone down significantly, just some on the lower left jaw still. Both sides are bruised as hell though.
"but the text never explicitly stated it!!!" hey, so that's actually what they tried to teach you in those english classes you barely passed đ
chuck tingle accidentally used an AI image on his latest cover and not only did he fix the mistake but he made me think the phrase âthe skeleton has been replaced out of an abundance of caution,â for which i am eternally grateful
There is something sooo deeply American going on with Seattle Childrenâs Hospital that I think would brick the minds of everyone outside of the United States.
The CHILDRENS hospital has to restrict helipad landings because of noise complaints from the wealthy home owners living next to it. Only the most urgent patients can land directly at the hospital. While the other kids have to land a mile away and are taken to the hospital via ambulance. Which is an unnecessary risk to the childâs life and also makes the families pay for the helicopter AND ambulance.
The hospital says some limits on helipad access add pressure when children need lifesaving care.
Apparently this has been going on for decades and is only getting traction because a pilot complained on Twitter.
Language matters.
I might be getting an infection because today Iâve had yellow watery leakage coming out of my right nostril đ©
Got all my wisdom teeth and a molar extracted on Tuesday, plus a bone graft. And itâs true what they say; the 3rd day is the fucking worst đ
The swelling was insane this morning, but some heat packs have helped bring it downâalthough the left side is still pretty bad, but the right side is much better. Iâve been alternating oxycodone and ibuprofen as often as I safely can, and itâs barely taking the edge off đ© Iâm in agony. And I can barely open my mouth. Sigh. At least I know itâs from the swelling and muscle pain, and not because my jaw locked up. I was so scared that was gonna happen but thankfully it didnât đ
Iâve checked my mouth as much as I can and Iâm pretty sure I donât have any dry sockets. So hopefully this is the worst of it and itâll start getting better tomorrow đ€my husband had his taken out last year and he was eating regular food by now. Idk how he heals so fast but Iâm envious lol
night flying Prints are now available on my INPRNT here.
forever grateful i was simply too lazy to let the makeup industrial complex get its hooks in me. I was just like im not doing all of that. in fact. im doing none of that
yeah I have political reasons for it now but my original and still most powerful reason is "I am not getting out of this bed one single second before I have to"
Iâm getting so frustrated with my husbandâs parents đ
