“A sense of possibility is caressing my skin. I am covered in myriads of roses and pleasant smells. The window is not even open.”
Virginia Woolf, from “A Writer’s Diary,”
“Most days I live deeply drenched in a warm innocence of love – from my hair follicles down to my foot soles, that even if someone tried to burn me alive, I would walk out of the fire unscathed, not even smelling of smoke, and keep on twirling with my day, covering the arsonist with love, jingling lavishly out the front the door in my coin belt. When you have love, you don’t need power. You are power.”

Amy Lowell, from The Complete Poetical Works of Amy Lowell; “Summer,”
Moon signs and where they physically feel intensity;
Aries moons: They feel in their face, on their skin. Living the stereotype of hotheaded but people forget how they blush.
Taurus moons: Held in the back of the neck, shaking their shoulders when it gets uncomfortable, tension in unmoving building feelings.
Gemini moons: Upper chest, those deep breaths that pull out one’s collar bones. The shallow breaths in fear of misunderstanding.
Cancer moons: The arms, that comfort. The need to hold something or someone. The intensity felt in oneself, the intensity felt for others.
Leo moons: Right within the heart, physically. Paining by ego harm, heartbreak from others but looking to them for healing.
Virgo moons: Unmoving hands. Building and distracting. Grabbing their pens and writing it down. They’re mouths may go silent but their hands will speak their emotions to existence.
Libra moons: Within their mouths, understanding intensity through words spoken into existence, trying desperate to mediate to others but also to themselves.
Scorpio moons: The pit of their stomachs. The drop that happens when they feel and they feel so often. It pains. It’s deep. It’s a secret.
Sagittarius moons: They’re legs. Twitch moving. Pacing around the room. Excusing themselves. Walking, often running, away.
Capricorn moons: They’re backs, the built up tension. The need to work but the physical paralysis.
Aquarius moons: The tips of their toes. The wanting to push intensity away but not being able to push that little twitch. Moving quickly to something else.
Pisces moons: The largest organ of the body, the skin. Shivers and goosebumps. The feel intensity everywhere.
“What do you do when you wither? When you are withering inside yourself, what is it exactly that you do? Me? I wanted to surrender. July meant total surrender. July felt like utter helplessness.”
— Günter Eich, tr. by Stuard Friebert, from Poems; “I Refuse Ladies and Gentlemen,”
