OK, now, we do all remember the Piaggio Ape, right? Right! And we do remember that the Piaggio Ape was originally the 3-wheel version of the Piaggio Vespa… So, here’s the ultimate evolution: The Piaggio Ape Poker (1993-2005) was the… 4-wheel version of the Ape 3-wheeler!

For personal reasons, the fact that this example is used by a Greek publishing house (Εκδόσεις Δίαυλος) was a plus. Perhaps I should start a series on utility vehicles used by Greek publishers and/or booksellers… Given the precarious financial state of most of them, one may see some very “interesting” examples (rusty VW vans etc…).
