I try not to get involved in fandom wank these days but when people are lying and passing off AI slop as their own, I can’t resist getting involved. Especially when the person keeps lying and blocking anyone who calls them out.

So I want to show everyone how easy it is to try and pass off AI slop as real.

Here is a piece of AI crap made by Grok. Yes, it’s deliberately the same image as someone else’s ‘art’.

Here is how I was able to make Grok give me the ‘sketch’ and ‘unfinished’ versions:

I then used Ibis to make it look as if I created the art. I just made duplicate layers and smudged the lower ones. (Watch the video below)

The key with this kind of fakery is the top layer. If it’s at 100%, any crap they claim is part of their process or adding to the art…is completely covered by that top layer.

For comparison, here’s a trace-over art I doodled. Look at the layers and how they’re all random little bits ordered in a way that they don’t cover the layers below.

Then you just snap the gallery and edit in the new timestamp in any photo editing app:

Tada. I wish we didn’t have to ask artists to prove their work was real. I wish we could trust them. But we don’t live in that world anymore. The person this is aimed at blocked me so the won’t see this but hopefully everyone else will and know not to reblog their slop.
