Some shots of what I was seeing around my life a few months ago, mixed in with some vlogging.  Finally finished this one though. I was trying to put together all the clips using a song that i guess really didn't fit. this one doesn't either but i love Tic Tac by Capsule. It lends itself to giving you more freedom with sequence.  I love editing. Editing practice.

uh... started out with that disproportioned crap head scrap and carried off to those compositions ... at the end.... 

... it looks like i cheated and made something 'visually stimulating' by repeating it a whole bunch of times which is stupid and the lines are simplistic but i.... ...huh. dont know. 

not... sure i care.

oh oh also this garbage happened when i got sooooo o o o o o o o OOOOO frustrated when working on a perspective drawing of an entire interior in a glass building from ceiling to floor (was on fourth floor)... uh... so many ears. well guess they can't be seen from the hair .. .things.  18 x 24, and oh my GOD my graphite kept breaking and breaking and breaking and i was /so/ mad hahaha furiously raking at the paper. (8b, 6b...)  deftones deftones deftones blastin' yup.

- on seated pose: cant tell if what im drawing today is crap or not.. not sure it matters because i'm getting a little more into my confidence in adding value.. so that's good. 18 x 24 vine. 20 minutes 

        >oh oh personal note for this one: Vonminor was saying how i should let my freeflowing confidence on my gestures be present when constructing the figure for a longer period type drawing, (i always try this in theory but end up taking too much time) so i did this this time a bit more successfully and it was helpful! 

- on reclined pose: getting with that value confidence.... i.... i normally pride myself on proportion... not sure if incorrect. i swear her bottom arm looked like that i swear it was weird hahaha. or maybe i'm big time art trash. (woops, does it sound like i want comments saying im an awesome artist?! yeah sure does... i'd better be careful!) 18 x 24, vine and maybe compressed 35 mins

Even if these might be a bit of trash in their final forms here, these are actually kind of important for breakthrough's sake. it shows that im doing now significantly more value! I'm gonna force myself to be proud about that.

sooooo here’s what my 2 part Chibiusa keychains look like! I’m hard at work  perfecting the way I’m laminating and cutting. It’s actually really quite tedious. Takes a lot more thought than I had imagined. Although sure, I didn’t think it would be easy. 

Making crafts definitely is a skill to be learned. Not an activity to assume you’d easily know.

My print proofs came in!!!!! Just ordered all the rest of my 13 prints!!! Yessssss!!! A bit of an ouchie on our pockets :p but in time i believe ill make it all back. LET’S GO!!!

I just wanna say a little bit about Catprint. They were outstanding with customer service. They’ve done everything to help me and were very patient while I had many issues with the print sizing and understanding full bleeding. I called several times and each time customer service employee Carol Lane was amazing in helping me understand the entire process. I was extremely well taken care of! I was very pleased to actually experience the awesome customer service I had heard other people speak about. I wont go into details about all the awesome, but, if you need prints, check out CatPrint short run color printing !!

i think it’s stupid, simple, and nothing anybody’s never seen before but i somehow think it’ll sell. let’s try it.

I think what works about this sketch is the fact that I didn't think "TRY TO ADD VALUE TRY TO ADD VALUE!" i just sort of coerced myself subconsciously to do it. (I know it doesnt even look like that much value, but for me this is actually even a TAD better.) 

I also came in without really having any time to think 'okay now what i am going to do is draw' because i ran from my class to try and get a bit of figure drawing in. [class interferes with these sessions now] and so i just grabbed my sktchbook, panting and stood up leaning against a wall with a pencil and eraser in hand and just quickly observed. also didnt have any music playing... not sure that's important. but it's interesting because i had no time to 'zone'  so i think it gave me a different more immediate look / process into what i was doing. 

ALSO. oh my god i think i found a small key... when i draw... i usually don't use a lot of higher number B pencils. and i should. because they're a lot easier to get darker marks out of. i'm always using H's n' crap. I think this was a 6 or 8B. must do again. and given more time, (hell it might not have even been 10 minutes) i know i could take my 'value' work farther.

simple doodle....been doing research on alcoholics and people who are alcoholics' writings to try and get better hands on what alcoholism really deeply can be about.

I need to take it up to the next level. I realllllly need to start working on value ( and in congruence with this atmosphere)  more in my studies (figure drawing etc) !!!! I always shy away and it's no good anymore!! I think i'm starting to come to the point where i will over and over again make the same sort of marks creating the same visual understanding of figures over and over again and i think to break free of that i must value value value!! do other!!!! stop getting comfortable and satisfied!!

cant give myself the satisfaction of staying in a comfort zone. no!!!!!

because the value studying will also positively reinforce my linework as well. im so sure. it alllll helps everythinggggg woooooooo

her nipple was literally a square on the top lying down pose oh my god... loved it.

ew that arm/fist on the bottom one... BUT SERIOUSLY IT'S BECAUSE SHE KEPT SHIFTING THAT IT BECAME AWKWARD I WAS SO NOT PLEASED AUUUHGHHGHGHGH /HUFFS. SHE ONLY HAD TO BE IN THAT POSITION FOR 20 MINUTES. IT'SL IKE DONT kEEP MOVING. .HHHHHHHHhh for a model that's not that long.....okay. so yeah it screwed up my proportions lmfao. because when i started (which was from the boom to the legs, she was in one position, but then it sort of shifted the hell around when i got up to her shoulder and arm and fist and head hhhh!!! not my fault i was literally drawing what i was seeing yarrrrr. oh well!
