Perfume to share press meeting with fans over Ustream

According to the official site, Perfume will be opening up a media-only press release event to fans over Ustream on September 20th, the day before their Perfume Anniversary 10days 2015 PPPPPPPPPP concert series is scheduled to kick off. The members will be present to discuss the event and their excitement surrounding it, and some are expecting possible further announcements due to the urgent nature of the live broadcast.

The stream will begin at 12 p.m. JST (calculate your local time) and is expected to run for 40 minutes. Watch here.

A documentary of Perfume taken during our American dates that came to pass at long last has been made into a movie exactly as we filmed it. We toured together with our staff who we trust, so it’s really full of our natural selves. Trivial conversations where only the three of us were laughing, wearing too bulky rehearsal clothes for protection against the cold, our no-makeup faces before we got on stage… lol All of these are parts that would normally be cut, but as each represents one scene of this American tour, we’ve kindly!! had the privilege of including them. lol Still, more than anything, despite my dislike of even going overseas, the moment we departed that dream stage we’d finally been granted after three years, I was shocked by myself already putting my next dream into words. That’s how strong I can be when it comes to Perfume. We absolutely hope for many people to see us and Team Perfume on the American stage we battled through. (A~chan)

This time, we’ve made our first movie! The film will make you feel once again that the three of us could never make it on our own and that we’re able to perform and keep striving thanks to the many people who are here supporting us and giving us strength. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it’s full of everything that makes up Perfume! …I think! (lol) We’d be honored if you enjoyed it even a little bit! (Kashiyuka)

For Perfume’s 15th anniversary since formation, we received the very, very wonderful present of a documentary film. Um, in this movie, you’ll be able to see the whole story behind the magnificent, splendid mistake which occurred at the important stage that was our London concert on the big screen with personal commentary from the individual(s) involved. Aaah, I’d intended to erase it from my memory… But the director wouldn’t let me escape from it (lol) It’s full of Team Perfume’s past, present and future. One more treasure to add to my collection!!! (Nocchi)

An update

Hello everyone,

Just a heads up to let you know that I am in the midst of preparing to resume normal activity on this blog. There’s a lot going on Perfume related right now and that will continue in the lead up to and during Perfume Anniversary 10days 2015 PPPPPPPPPP, so I have a lot of information to share.

Right now I’m in the process of writing a series of posts detailing the PPPPPPPPPP events, explaining what they are and how to obtain tickets or participate in the events. There’s a lot of information and pretty much all of it except the dance contest information is solely in Japanese, but I feel that it’s a big deal so want to do my best to provide all the information I can to help people be part of this big milestone for Perfume.

After I’m done with writing the guide to PPPPPPPPPP I will try to update my theme and make it a bit more information friendly, but until then I’ll be in the background making sure there’s as much English information as possible.

Hopefully I’ll be back up and running in the next few days.

Sorry I can’t make a real newspost right now, I’m completely slammed with schoolwork but here’s the jist of today’s announcement.

10 days of Perfume live events for the 10 years since major debut

1 day at TSUTAYA O-WEST (9/21)

4 days at Nippon Budoukan (9/26, 9/27, 9/29, 9/30)

2 days at Hiroshima Green Arena (10/6, 10/7)

More dates to be announced later

There are plans for a dance contest held in an arena as well as Perfume FES!! 2015

Details on P.T.A. and WORLD P.T.A. lotteries will be available at a later date
