I recently learnt that executive dysfunction can be broken down into two main categories: anxiety that your attempt won’t be satisfactory, or confusion about where to start or how to break it down into steps. As much as we feel bad about it, it’s extremely important to remember that it is NOT laziness and we in fact shouldn’t feel bad.

anyway it’s funny how you can say masculinity is a prison and people generally agree, but when you say femininity is a prison suddenly people think you’re personally attacking every single person who has ever enjoyed wearing lipstick

I think it’s because people still think of masculinity as a set of behaviours/characteristics like not crying and being tough blah blah but think of femininity purely as to do with physical appearance like wearing heels and lipstick

hmm strange almost as if masculine people (men) are seen as complex humans and feminine people (women) are seen as pretty ornaments
