Jo got him to the car and began the drive to the hospital. "Do you need the window open or anything?"
As he sat in the car, he rested his head back and closed his eyes. Hearing Jo, he shook his head a little. "No. I don't think so." He said.

Jo got him to the car and began the drive to the hospital. "Do you need the window open or anything?"
As he sat in the car, he rested his head back and closed his eyes. Hearing Jo, he shook his head a little. "No. I don't think so." He said.
"No, but you do. You can't be sitting around like this incase it's contagious ." She helped him up. "I'll give you a lift "
Tom didn't say anything back. He couldn't understand this. He wasn't usually unwell. And yesterday he was fine. He even felt okay when he came into work this morning. He followed Jo.
"Didn't you hear Harry? Come on,let's get you seen to."
"I did. But he doesn't feel like this." Tom told her. He looked at her as she said this and then nodded about him going.
"Jesus, You look like shit. Do you want to try and get in with your doctor? I'll give you a lift."she offered, concerned.
Tom shook his head. "I should just head home and sleep it off." He said even though he obviously needed to be checked out.
"how are you feeling?" Jo asked him after around an hour.
Tom was at his desk now. He honestly didn't feel any better. All he did was look at her.
"Eat something. If you still feel off in an hour, go and get checked." He told him, it wasn't a request.
Tom listened to what Harry was telling him and nodded. He knew when he said something it wasn't a request.
"Tom just fainted" she explained.
Harry raised his eyebrows. "Is that so? Any reason?" He asked Tom.
Tom looked at her as she said this. Hearing Harry ask him. "Yes. I was working one minute and then waking up on the floor the next." He said. "As for why...I don't know."
"You're welcome." She helped him into a seat then went to her desk and brought out a tin of coke. "Hopefully this helps "
Tom sat down with her help. When she came back over with a drink, he took the drink from her. "Hopefully." He said. Harry had just come back in from somewhere and noticed the two of them. "Whats going on?"
Disaster. If there was anything she thought about mission execution, it's that it was a disaster. Even if it wasn't thoroughly a hopeless case, the knew she could have done better. Where was the lack? Was it in assuming too soon, bearing less patience than usual at the time of confrontation? Was it feeling embarrassed at confronting the wrong person? Was it at pursuing the mission despite the minimal information? She wasn't certain.
For the meantime, however, she chose not to dwell. With Merlin's blessing, Roxy took the next day off, dressed in more casual wear, though wore her glasses. A just in case. She took a stroll through St. James, leisurely in pace, distracted, hoping she needn't have to deal with work, already considering to convince Merlin that they put a pin on the mission and move towards finding Matthew and making him forget.
Tom was grateful that he had been working at the time he had been out and about and come face to face with Roxy. At least that way, he had the others in his ear and hearing what was going on and telling him where the best safe house was to go to. Although taling about Zoe wasn't great. That night he had been thinking about how he missed working with her and no one but Harry knew where she was. And that was if even he knew exactly where she was.
As Tom walked through St James, he took in his surroundings. He was making the most of the calm and being relaxed. He knew it would most probably be far from calm and relaxing once he was in work. What he didn't know was that Roxy was round the place too.
"ok, up you get" Jo helped him to stand.
Tom got to his feet with her help. Even if he did feel a little lightheaded as he did this. "Thank you." He said to her.
"that's good. When you're ready, we'll get you properly sat on a chair. Get you looked at."
Tom nodded. "I;m ready." He said. He felt a bit more with it than he had when he had first come around.
Roxy listened with a bit of skepticism as they went on. Sure, he may be one of them- and her trust in Merlin surpassed her doubt- but what were the odds it was a false alarm? What were the odds that this man may not be the guy but is still a guy they ought to keep an eye on? But the lack of information made their little dance a tricky one, and it didn't hurt to keep on with the façade.
And so she walked with him until wherever home was, and then moved to give the back of his shoulder a gentle pat, if he would so allow. "I hope I haven't inconvenienced your evening," she said, "and I hope you find Zoe soon."
And then, she was off, hoping for the off chance that her little tracker would come unnoticed. What were the odds?
-
The proceeding day was intended for rest, if only to relieve herself from her tricky position and evaluate the case with fresh eyes. Roxy took a leisurely stroll at St. James’s, taking in a bit of cool breeze as she thought, wondering if returning the case to square one was the best option they had after yesterday’s events. For the moment, then, she busied herself mentally, only partially attentive of her surrounding.
Tom looked at his 'house' and then looked back at her again. He wasn't exactly sure how he was going to thank her, but a shoulder pat wasn't what he would have done. The fact she had done that to him, made him think. "You haven't." He told her and was about to get his keys out of his pocket when he realized what she had said. "I didn't tell you her name..." he started but she had already left.
Of course, as soon as he had got in the safe house, he had taken his coat off and found the tracker. Shaking his head, he was about to destroy it when he thought better of that. He could stay here, destroy the tracker the following morning and then any questions if he bumped into her again could be answered with his coat had gone in the wash. That is exactly what he did the next morning, before heading into work. Deciding to walk through St James.
"ok. Have you eaten today?" She asked quietly, "or drank"
Tom rested his head back as he listened to what she was asking him. "I grabbed something as I left the house this morning. And I have had a drink or two since getting to work." He told Jo.
Jo helped him to a seated position against the wall. "How are you feeling?"
Tom sat up and leaned back against the wall. "I'm not sure." He said. He wasn't even sure what had actually happened for him to pass out to start with.
"in work, you're just in the grid." She assured
Tom nodded his head but wished he hadn't. He closed his eyes for a moment before looking back at her. "Let me sit up a bit." He told her, already trying to do just that.
"Don't get up too fast" Jo told him gently. "You don't want to go down again. Once you can sit up, we'll grab you a coke and a bit of chocolate."
Tom let his eyes focus a bit. "What happened?" He asked, trying to work out where he was. The last thing he wanted was there to be a crowd of people. He looked back at Jo again.

Tom had no idea what had happened. One minute he was getting on with work in the grid, the next he wasn't feeling great and passing out. Starting to come around, he slowly opened his eyes and looked up to see Jo.
