Seems as though Warner Bros is just completely fine with removing creative works from existence now (First movies, now games).

They even refuse to transfer ownership of Steam game store pages to the original developers who, unsurprisingly, don't want their games wiped off the map.

Massive red flag for any creatives to steer clear of working with them in the future, if they value the longevity of their work.

I don't post a lot of news articles on here, so I figured I should post the update article for this that came out in May (two months after the original article). Warner Bros. essentially changed their minds and gave the game ownership rights back to the developers.

It's still a pretty sizeable red flag for creatives in the industry. Regardless of the walk-back, it's gonna be hard to earn anybody's trust for some time.
