did you know the cops once found a fully functioning movie theater with a well-stocked bar inside the catacombs and they when they tried to go back later to formally investigate it was completely emptied out save for a note that read "don't search for us"

my little bro is part of the catacombs community and yeah, it's basically a fully autonomous society! enough that when my bro goes in on a friday night, they don't come out until monday for work- sometimes longer if they took days off.

some of the rooms have fully stocked pantries with cooking equipment, some have movies like the one described above, some have books you're allowed to just take but people always put back- every day people bring things from the outside. artists often set up galleries there. there are rooms with mattresses and hammocks set up for people to sleep. one of the room is just a place where people leave shoes for the fun of it.

this is Known, it's not a secret by any means. the catacombs are as big as paris itself, and people live there just as people live above. it's wonderful when you think about it.

If anyone wants or cares for an update, here goes: depression. big, ugly depression. from university i developed a bad relationship with art, to the point in which i couldnt draw anything without breaking down.

maybe its the new medication im taking, but after watching s2 of hazbin hotel, i got a big surge of art desire. and uh. ive been drawing for a week non stop. i dont know how long this will last, or if it will last at all. but. in case you missed my art, i moved to "sometimes-arghezi". thats it, take care.

I'd say the best way to yeet myself back into the fandom (hopefully for a while at least) is to remake one of my first pieces. This piece isn't done yet but I'm taking my time with it.

Ok so, a little bit of an update. I feel like I should give yall one as I've been inactive for quite some time. Basically, I started uni this year and oh boy its a lil bit more draining than I initially anticipated. I haven't made fanart or any sort of art for my own enjoyment since forever, and the pieces that I managed to make here and there I didn't even have the energy to post. However, yesterday i happened to look through my asks and weirdly enough, seeing someone ask if they can use this specific headcannon of mine in a fic has given me a huge boost of motivation and want to draw sanders sides again. And sincerely, I haven't felt this in a long while so yeah, I vibrated with energy for a couple of hours yesterday :')))

I can't promise anything, but I will certainly try to become more active again. I've found this excitement for personal art and would like to keep it, if even for a little while.

As I said, exams are over, which means I have some invisibility frames in regards of my responsabilities. Which means, I get to be a gremlin and draw all day.
